Its really a great place. Maybe it doesnt have all the great stuff you would find in all the other stores but they are a box store. Costco doesnt carry everything but they try to have great deals to pass on to their customers. Just like Foo4Less, they are trying to get the best deals to the customer, without a membership. And sure you have to bag your grocerys and take them out to your car. But its the same thing your gonna buy at the other stores. Your just paying the other stores for the overhead and convince. So why not shop at Food4Less and get your special items at other stores. I purchase 99% of my groceries for my family. The only time I shop the other stores is when I know they are loosing money on their AD items. Makes me feel like Im Finally shopping at Food4Less. Most of the time Food4Less has already matched the AD item anyways. So why not shop at Food4Less.

I have shopped at this place for years. However if I had one complaint it would be regarding their staff; Christopher T. He has mentioned several condescending statements to me and I dont even know the guy. He has some hang up on food stamps and the best part is, I dont even get food stamps. He has an attitude that creates a very uncomfortable shopping experience. It seems the increase in minimum wage has clearly gone to his head. Oh poor Christopher, I hope one day you come down off your high horse a.k.a fork lift and realize that only an obsolete portion of your state taxes actually funds food stamps. I will do my best to shop elsewhere as just plain avoiding this guy isnt working.

I love going to Food 4 Less. They have loads of vegetables and fruits, and sometimes amazing deals on them. It is kind of a discount supermarket of sorts. They have system of taking you around the store by the way the aisles are set up and rooting you out through the registers with you bagging your own groceries. There are few employees and no baggers. They have a butcher area so the meets are very nice. The first time I came here I felt put off by the way that it was set up but over time I have come to really appreciate this store. I enjoy going here and the prices are exceptional. They also have quite a few Hispanic type foods like tomatillos.

Ive only gone to Food 4 Less a few times. From my limited experience, it has been an okay place to get groceries. It has a wide selection of items so I could get my entire list from there. Someone had given me the impression that groceries would be cheaper here. From what I had noticed, some items were a few cents cheaper than what they would have been from Ralphs. I havent gone through the trouble to do an exact comparison.

Its a grocery store. They sell groceries. They are cheaper for the most part than other stores, as the name would suggest. Large variety of produce. Good for buying items in larger quantities. I like to get my baking items and canned stuff here. Meat selection is excellent.

Great deals on staples....especially veggies, fruits, & dairy. Meat is OK. Dry items can vary in prices from cheap to over-priced. Know your prices before you get here. Due to the proximity to SLO, it is not too cheap...nor high end.

Stay away from the meat department (unless green meat appeals to you) & youre safe. Prices balance out, some lower & some higher than the competition. Reasonably good produce & Mexican bakery items are the only reason I go there.

The check out lines can get long sometimes and its always a good idea to check the expiration dates on things. Other than that its a great place for a budget minded shopper.
