So I went to this location again to do two pages of 17x22 prints. I did prints that size just few days ago there assisted by a female assistant and it turned out okay. But not this time. I wasted three quarters parking on meter and the male assistant couldnt get the print right after several trials. He turned to an elder female assistant and she obviously knew nothing better. After a while, the male assistant asked for the manager. The male manager told him to reboot the big printer and try again. It still did not work. Then the manager operated on the computer himself and did a print. Again, bad results. He then returned my flash drive and said to me that it must be something wrong with the PDF file that I saved from AutoCAD (My company uses AutoSketch; your limited brain knows only one name). He suggested me go back to my teacher and have save another file and come back again since he already lost money on those useless prints. OUTRAGEOUS! So I look young then I must be an innocent pupil? Im almost 26 this month and I at least have a master degree. Some people even pay tons of money to look young. If you dont value your customer, Ill take all my business elsewhere, that is all the large size printing, domestic shipping and international shipping for my company, and you will lose even more money! Anyway, I calmed myself and asked him to try print a letter size from another printer so we could figure out if theres something wrong with the setting on the computer or something with the (stupid) printer. He hummed and did what I suggested and it turned out a perfect letter size print. Then the manager asked the assistant to enlarge the small paper for me and left to the back (not to fix the printer right away). The enlarged copy did not work since I need a clear print to give to my metal work supplier to make product enclosure for my company. So I left very unsatisfied. Just for the record, this FedEx Kinkos office is admittedly huge with just two or three assistant on site. Whether you are going for shipping or doing printing or something, you often times have to wait for minutes even though there are no other customers there. Although theres almost always longer wait time in FedEx offices anywhere than in UPS stores, this is the worst customer service attitude I received and its from the manager here. In addidtion, the location is really bad. The cheap owner didnt even consider a small parking lot for their customers.

San luis obispo manager has the worst customer service skill ever. He should not be a manager. I had a work order that was done incorrectly on there part. Good customer service would have been to redo the job that day and apologize, but that is not what I got. I got ok, "well will see if we can redo the job tomorrow or the next day but no guarantees" . And "I have to start from scratch because I cannot locate your work order, therefore it will take some extra time" . And "the person that did your job is not in the office today and might be in tomorrow". Are you kidding me???? If this is the best they can do, then no thanks, I will take my business elsewhere to someone who appriecates my business.

Had a huge proposal due and traffic issues getting from LA to SLO. Kinkos staff jumped in, printed, bound, and packaged my 300-page document exactly to spec. They were responsive, courteous, extremely calm (I guess their jobs werent on the line), and knowledgable about what needed to be done. The document had numerous sections, tabs, different sized pages and other potential pitfalls that were avoided by their attention-to-detail and coordination. And they only had 2 hours to produce two copies. Id highly recommend them for your printing/binding needs. Carol Johnson, Assistant Manager, was truly my hero!

I was just asked to leave this store with my two year old son! The manager on duty refused to take care of my needs as the customer. He didn't even let me finish explaining to him what it is that I needed before he blatantly refused and then told me I was being belligerent. This small project, copying publications from my thumb drive and putting them in individual binders to referenced for my US AirForce duties. I was embarrassed! He wouldn't even give me his supervisors name when I asked!

I use this branch to print transparency films about once/month. Today was the last time. Work orders have never been hassle free. The employees often act like I am asking too much of them (when they finally get around to greeting me at the service counter). Today was the last straw...these employees dont know much about their job or customer service. Staples or Office Max from now on....stay classy fedex/kinkos!

Went in to print a 16x20 document. One sided pdf already prepared. They simply didnt know how to print it even though they offer wide format printing. Im going back later because they told me "the girl who knows how to use the printer wont be in until 6." If you offer wide format printing as a service, please train more than one employee how to use it.

We shipped a package today here to the east coast. Customer service both by phone (before we got there) and after arriving, couldnt have been better. Very clear and very helpful, both the person at the counter and the manager in charge (on a Sunday....all UPS are closed on Sunday here), were pleasant, professional, helpful. Well be back.

Most times I have no issues at this FedEx except that the workers seem to move at the pace of snails. However, it was ridiculous that I was first in line and then asked to get back into line after purchasing a box...because the worker wanted to help all the other customers first literally helping 7 people at once.

Staff is great and very helpful. The front printers, however, are pretty buggy (UI doesnt let me choose the custom paper tray half the time) and the print quality on those things is awful. Comparing those printers with prints done by staff behind the desk, the former looks awful while the latter is great.

As of 4/26/09, their hours are: Mon-Fri: 7:30am to 10pm Sat-Sun: 10am to 6pm I havent spent much time there, but I havent had any problems the times I went. Staff was responsive and helped me with faxing and shipping issues.

Friendly & effective service. Parking is a hassle, but the other FedExs are far. If you have something heavy, you may wish to use their competition. If you have something that MUST get there fast...well...go here.

I would second the first review - the hours posted here on the "details" page are wrong. I just made a trip downtown to Kinkos and they were closed at 6, as opposed to 10pm as it says here.

What is up with customer service these days. When you call and ask a legitimate question and they say "Im not really sure" . The right answer is... "I dont know but I will find out."

Typical FedEx. The workers are helpful but seem to take their time. The store offers solutions for all your printing, packing, and shipping needs.
