I got my very first tattoo done today by Trever and i couldnt be more happy with the results. He was knowledgable, and very talented at what he does. He was helpful for the entire process starting with sketching my tattoo and ending with bandaging up my tattoo. He had amazing ideas with the design itself, and he did everything i ask. Apothecary in general is a really clean, reliable place to get a tattoo done. I also had my friends join me for support and there was no problem with that, which meant a lot to me. I would definitely recommend everyone go to Apothecary.

Jake does amazing work. He did a Calvin and Hobbes piece on my forearm, and a partial half-sleeve on my partner, which he also did the original artwork for. Were extremely pleased with our ink, and already have plans to go back and get more tattoos from Jake. Hes super laid back, yet very professional, and his art skills are just beyond great. The shop is clean and inviting, and he usually has some awesome movie playing (like Pick of Destiny or The Watch). Great place to go! Cant recommend this shop highly enough!

Apothecary Tattoo; Jake Stockstell... Hands down the best tattoo shop and Artist in San Luis Obispo County. Jake is definition of an "Ink Master". Apothecary Tattoo is the only tattoo shop worth my time and money. Jake is the only person that I will ever allow to put ink in my skin. And I knew from the moment he blasted my whole Nintendo sleeve, so effortlessly. A work of art; A masterpiece was created. Right before my eyes. Trever Carter fixed up my ace of spades tattoo I got earlier this year. I thought fixing it up was going to be the best of a bad situation no matter how skilled the artist was. He immediately had several very helpful suggestions and went to work. 1 hour later I have a gorgeous piece of art on my shoulder blade. I wouldnt ever go anywhere in slo county

i have got 9 tattoos from here and at least one from everyone who works there. i have always had a great experience and always walked out with a great tattoo i was 100% happy with. from their fundraisers to help the community to the amazing work they do, i recommend apothecary to everyone and plan on going back in the future.
