I have been a royal customer here for years. However, I havent gotten the kind of customer service that deserves a review until recently. I went there to look around for a dress for an engagement party. I was helped by a girl at the wedding section, she was so helpful, attentive and sweet. She helped me pick out so many dresses. And she also frequently checked up on me while I was in the dressing room. I ended up not buying any because they all ran a little large on me. Nordstrom tends to run out of small size quickly. However, she was not even mad but gladly gave me other info to get dresses online instead. She did not give me any attitude at all, which I found hard to find these days at stores. I would definitely suggest all the soon to be brides to shop here just for the customer service they provide. When I went downstair I also encountered a male sale associate that was just as nice. I picked out the shoes I like from the sale section and he spent 10-15 finding the right size for me. I bought the shoes and even after I found out Macys carries it for a little cheaper, I am happy with my purchase. Keep up with the good work Nordstrom. A year ago, while they were under construction, I came to get myself a pair of UGGs but the employee gave me sooo much attitude I just walked away. Im glad they have changed for the better now.

Nordstrom is the best store , but after I order online my 2 orders was loss . And they cannot find it. So Lucienne Marrow & the supervisor at shoe department order the Olukai sandal. And it arrives without a problem and Lucienne call me . Next the Mason Pearson brush loss also including the supply go within. I go to the second floor, pick-up & Maureen D. Process the ordering & I asked her about the sample she told me , she will get it from fragrance when it come. My problem is no body call me that my hair brush & I call them after a day. So that I can pickup. When I came to pickup, I mention about the sample the lady who help me said that if came from the warehouse, they cannot give a sample but when I told Maureen D. will give the sample & I look what the original order & show to her. She pickup the sample. The service in pickup is not good...

I have been using their alteration services for two years and every time it is the same friendly lady that helped me, but yesterday when i went there to hem a pair of pants another lady that i have never seen before came to help me, when i was told the price for the hemming, i was a bit surprised because it was much higher than what i have been paying. I asked her why, then this is what she said, "well, this is how much we charge for pants hemming, what ever price they charged you before was wrong". Thats it! Thats how you treat your customer and how you answer their questions?! I will never come back for alterations, and will also consider to close my Nordstrom card since alteration was the biggest motivation for me to open this card.

Parking can be a bear here and I rarely shop at Nordstroms, but I do use them for my bras and occasionally for stockings or a special splurge lipstick or shoe. I like the staff at this Nordstrom a bit better than the one at Stanford shopping center (who are also Nordstrom trained polite, but have a slightly higher degree of air of elitism about their interactions that tends to irritate me). Since I knew precisely what I wanted when I went in, finding parking took me longer than running in and out of the store did on this most recent visit. I do like that Nordstrom consistently have staff that are helpful as I dont always find that at the other chain department stores.

To George, I work at Nordstrom. First of all, I am just assuming you had DTC (direct to customer) order placed to you for an item not located within Valley Fair. Yes, we do take your credit card, BUT if the item can not be located in any other Nordstrom, your card is NOT billed. The seller should have explained this better to you. If you did not recieve anything, it is because no Nordstrom in the system had the item you were looking for, and therefor could not be shipped out. If we do not take your card information, we would not be able to ship you the item if it was available. We use credit cards for this reason, as opposed to cash or check.

A large Nordstrom with all that you expected from a corner store in a large shopping center. They offer in-store pick-up for online orders which can be a lifesaver with regards to last minute gifts. The staff is friendly, but lack of onsite seamstress/tailor/alterations at my last visit (granted it was the evening) was a little off-putting. When looking at suits that cost multiple thousands of dollars its a little unnerving to not have a tailor evaluating the fit prior to purchase. For this reason I would check out the Stanford Shopping Center Nordstrom if youre looking for high-priced menswear - they always have a tailor on site.

I shop very very frequently at Nordstrom Valley fair. Almost always I have received exceptional service, except once, at the Lingerie department. The lady was totally RUDE, and gave me BULL*(&^ about the store lingerie policy and the store return policy , and happily contradicted herself. If she is not interested in selling, or customer service, she should have chosen to do something else. A great store, with one rotten apple in the crate.

Great selection of young mens cloths including topman. Lots of inventory and the store is kept free of clutter. My only issue is the staff here is not as friendly and ready to do business as other nordstrom stores. That being said, this place has been my go to department store for shoes, shirts, pants (alterations in house are wonderful) and their constant sales. The restaurants in store are a plus and the music is always good too.

3 story nordstroms. Its easy to navigate through this nordstroms. They got rid of their customer service office, so if you ordered something for store pick up you just go to any counter and have them pull the item for you. This takes a lot longer than the old customer service office. There is a lot of remodeling going on here and the cafe is temporarily closed.

A bit more upscale than your average department store, Nordstroms has a large variety of designer brands, good selection, and a helpful staff. This is a large store so give yourself plenty of time to complete your shopping expedition. If you want Nordstrom items at a lower price there is a Nordstrom Rack Outlet located at the Westfield Oakridge Mall.

Best shopping experience here. We bought a Burberry watch from the Nordstrom website and I went to this store to make it fit my wrist. The lady at the store found some dirt on my new watch and decided to replace a new clean one for me immediately. I didnt even noticed the dirt! She also helped me with the size. We are very happy shopping there.

Parking in 2017 is really congested. Parking lots along Stevens Creek side of the mall are either closed or substantially reduced in size. Driving through the maze of repainted lanes and construction dust will add 10 minutes to your trip . Two words: online shopping. At least until the parking construction is finished.
