First we were introduced to custom sandwiches. Then came along kustom pizzas. Now the power to pick and choose just stepped up its game... CUSTOM MILKSHAKES and if it was still 2003 I would make a joke about my milkshake bringing boys to the yard. Sadly 2003 has come and gone so I will put it terms that humans speak nowadays #milkshake #foodporn #sogood You first start off by selecting the flavor ice cream (vanilla or chocolate ice cream, soy ice cream and vanilla froyo) or either regular milk or almond milk and this is the part where things get interesting. You can incorporate an extensive variety of chocolates, fruits, candy and syrups into your milkshake. I wouldve went mad with power and produced my own bad boy but I had my eye on The Dark Knight. With the combination of dark chocolate and cheesecake perfectly intertwined in a cup, Im pretty sure the milkshake gods would have been pleased. I must confess that the milkshake itself was a little runny (but still was delicious nonetheless) and service was a little slow but they just opened not that long ago. Give them a little time to work out the kinks and allow the business to mature and this business will be flawless! Yes $6 for a 12oz milkshake is a little steep but living in California we pretty much find it acceptable to pay almost $5 for a small coffee, $3 for a single mini cupcake or even paying $12 for an all organic burger. So if you do not like those numbers I suggest going to McDonalds for a milkshake! Love it or hate it My Milkshake is a unique business and I think it is a great addition to downtown San Jose!

Fun custom milkshake bar with loads of choices. For the milk base, you can choose either regular milk or almond milk. For the mix-ins, theres candy, baked goods, and fruit, and a few different syrups. The only thing that they dont have much variety on is the ice cream/yogurt base, because they only have four options (vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, vanilla froyo, and some soy thing). I would have had a custom milkshake but the Dark Knight milkshade sounded good, so I got that instead. It was a combination of dark chocolate and cheesecake. Very good, with a fairly thick consistency---not as thick as an In-n-Out milkshake, and that is a good thing for me because I dont have to wait for it to melt a bit in order to sip it through the straw. Theres a few tables inside (3 small ones, 1 large round one, and a handful of counter seats). Its right next to the VTA/bus stop so if you can get a seat, its a nice place to wait for your ride.

We were super excited about this place as we had gotten a milkshake a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. Considering this place has “milkshake” in the name, we thought that they would make good ones as well. We got the superman (peanut butter cup and brownies) and waited as they made our milkshake. We saw them add some milk, scoop some peanut butter and crush a brownie with scoops of ice cream in a blender. When we got our shake, we thought it was okay, but wasn’t what we were expecting. The milk made it not so thick and the brownie was too crushed up for us so we only tasted the granulars (is that a word?) of it. We were hoping for some chewy pieces. The peanut butter was good, but nothing special. Overall, it was alright. I wouldn’t pay almost $7 for another shake.

7/19/15 My husband and I came in here not long after we had just gone for a frozen treat at Starbucks. I wasnt in the mood for another drink, but he loves his sweets, so there we were.... Ishita at the counter really nicely explained how things worked and Casey ordered a 16 oz Thor with whipped cream. She happily rang up the order and we both enjoyed the dessert with its big drinking straw (the straw was awesome because you could enjoy the drink right away without having to do much work to get it in your mouth!) $6.50 for the beverage is a lot of money - it was good, but so are smoothies from Jamba Juice and Javivas from Peets. Lots of frozen treats are good. Very few are almost $7 for a medium.

I loved this place! The milkshakes were the perfect consistency. Thick but thin enough to be drunk through a straw. I got the mmHulk and was extremely happy with it. It was just minty enough! You dont have to order off the pre made menu as they have a build your own option. They have a huge amount to choose from which overwhelmed me a bit so I just ordered a pre made one. You can choose regular milk or almond milk and vanilla or chocolate ice cream. I was extremely impressed with how quickly we got our shakes. We were there during Fanime so it was extremely crowded but we all got a shakes in less than 10 minutes after ordering. They also have some savory food like tots or curly fries.

My Milkshake speaks to my sweet tooth and my creative itch. This small downtown shop lets you customize your dream shake. With so many options it can be a bit overwhelming- from candies to syrup, sprinkles, brownies, cookie dough and more! While you cant do much wrong when it comes to ice cream, I was bummed they dont blatantly offer blending options- my vanilla shake with peanut butter, brownies, and cookie dough was fully blended leaving no reminisce of brownies or cookie dough. The cookie dough flavor was lost and the final product just ended up tasting like peanut butter chocolate ice cream. Highly recommend asking for your shake less blended if thats what youre expecting.

Its a cool place to go to in downtown San Jose, but it is extremely expensive. Also, the menu is very complicated. The staff wasnt very friendly and very clicky with one another. It wasnt busy at all when I went, so I went straight to the counter, but she said she wanted me to walk to the back and read the menu and the steps first before going back to her. And when I went to place my order I felt like I was interrupting the employees conversation with one another. The fixings they offer are quite expensive! $2 for two small bits of kinder chocolate!

A cute little shake shop. What else can one ask for on a night stroll in San Jose downtown after dinner. The shakes that we tried were quite good - thick, smooth and tasty. And its open pretty late into the night so more reasons to raid it after a good time elsewhere.

Ive decided to change the 2 stars to 4 because theyve changed a lot in two years, thankfully. There is a better operation going on and they have a great selection of candy to add. Its still funny to see how the screens are placed where froyo machines were.

A nice place. Went there few times. The guy who work there is so friendly. The floor and the tables are clean. If you are an athlete, then you wont go wrong with this place since they have a special active menu. Its a little expensive, but worth it.
