This place is shady. I saw the ads on CL. Came to look. [He] seemed unwelcoming. I looked at the car with my family. As soon as the test driving was done, which was surprisingly very short, we talked to him and asked because the car seemed to have been in a collision. He immediately backed down and sounded sketchy saying it wasnt and even offer me a discount AND free 3 month of warranty. Anyways, I agreed and asked for a mech to see the car. He wouldnt agree to let the car be inspected at the mechs shop. Fine enough. We left and a couple days later I went to another [bigger and more reputable] dealership and looked at the same model for less than his price. The salesman there didnt push me and urged me to take as long as I want when I test drive it [alone]. He wanted me to feel comfortable. Sure enough, after the test drive, he let me take the car to a mechs shop by myself. Guess what? The car was good to go except for minor things we asked him to fix [for free] and a free complimentary car wash and discount. Best of all, he kept contacting me via text to make sure I am satisfied. City Motor Sales lost me as a potential buyer. Customer service really means business.

I am a sales manager from City Motor Sales. I would like to explain Mr. Henry ShKs case. We purchase cars in large quantity and contracted them to a 3rd party to perform SMOG checks. If a car passed the SMOG check, our dealership is not require to verify if the CAT parts are in compliance or not again. In this case,the Court had concluded it is not our dealerships responsibility. Furthermore, Mr. Henry ShK is not an honest man. I sold this car to him for $6800 and he claimed that he paid $8000. He said the repair costed $2500 but he told the Court that the cost was between $3000 to $5000. Please dont believe what Mr. Henry ShKs said. He is not an honest person. The verdict from the Superior Court at June 28th 2016 concluded that it is not the dealerships fault.

This angry little chinese fob refuses to let anyone test drive his cars. I asked him if I could test drive a Prius I was interested in buying. He says "how much you offer?". He asks you to give him a offer BEFORE you test drive a car. How the hell is anyone going to offer anything BEFORE they test drive a USED car. Not only just that I run the carfax on the prius I was looking at and the car has multiple accidents on the record. Yea okay buddy. I should just take a huge steaming dump on your lot and it would the be the same. You win the award for #1 scumbag used car salesman in San Jose. Good job. Thumbs up.

DEALER TOLD ME SMOG CHECK PASSED, WHEN I RECEIVED LETTER FROM DMV FOR SMOG CHECK, I TOOK MY CAR FOR TEST, IT WAS FAILED, SMOG CHECK TECH GAVE ME RECORDS OF LEXUS SMOG TESTS , WHICH SHOWS FIRST TEST WAS FAILED, NEXT TEST WAS PASSED, IT WAS TRICKED BY DEALER. CAT PART WAS DUPLICATE, NOT ACCORDING TO CA AUTOMOBILE BUREAU. COST $2500.00 I FILED REPORT WITH DISTRICT ATTORNEY OFFICE FOR FRAUD, AND SUED DEALER FOR FRAUD IN SUPERIOR COURT. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY CAR, THIS ASIAN MAN IS CON.

Horrible experience. I bought a car here, even though the guy didnt seem trustworthy and was pushy and mean. It broke down shortly after. Repairs cost more than the car did. I called to report my dissatisfaction, and they refused to take back the vehicle or give reimbursement for repairs. Dont let this happen to you.
