I have been a loyal customer of Lakeside Optical on Ocean Ave, since 2004. The new owners, Emmanuel and Daniel, equal and even better than the previous, are very professional and ready to help you making this experience of new lenses the most pleasant and unmatched. If a person who reads this, thinks the old owners were great, wait until you come back and get in the care of these two gentlemen. They will make you feel first class elite. I go there almost twice per month, it depends. I bring them my old lenses for adjustment of screws and re-adjustment of the frame, and I am welcomed with the same friendly smile, every time. They have even gone the extra mile as to repair a broken handle, twice, which they make look seamless. This is Dannys expertise. Right now In the process of acquiring a new prescription after my doctors visit, I am so glad I have Emmanuel and Daniel in the same place, ready to help me with selecting the best frame and style to make me feel comfortable and under first class service. I have been there when other clients come in and I can reassure I see the same treatment and respect to everyone including myself. This experience is to feel it, not to read it. I wanted to write review for this business because I have good experience. Emanuel very helpful man, Scheduled time with the eye doctor, and he made for me a full glasses for free to test the new prescription to check if Im comfortable with it before make the glasses with transition. Also he delivered to me the glasses by himself which is really highly appreciated :-) Given me very good discount for the new glasses the new frame with the lens transition. Moreover; after I have selected the new frame and the transition color I called him in the phone too many times to change the transition color, he really was very welcomed. I really recommend this business to everyone because Emanuel is very honest and very helpful. Thanks so much Emanuel, I really appreciated!

I HAD 3 PAIRS OF PROGRESSIVE GLASSES AND THEY WERE NOT RIGHT WHEN I PUT THEM ON I FEEL HEADACHE AND BLURRY VISION.THEN I WENT TO LAKESIDE OPTICAL AND GAVE HIM THE PRESCRITION AND SINCE I HAD PROBLEMS WITH PROGRESSIVE LENS I REQUESTED A BIFOCUL BUT MR.EMMANUEL SAID WE CAN MAKE PROGRESSIVE AND IF IT DOES WORK YOU PAY NOTHING.HE INSISTED .I AGREED AND I AM GLAD I DID AGREE THE MOMENT I PUT THEM ON I CAN DESCRIBE THE COMFORT AND THE CLARITY WHEN I USE MY GLASSES.NOW I KNOW WHY HE INSISTED .REASON HE KNEW WHAT HE IS DOING HIMSELF AND HIS PARTNER DANIEL.I AM GLAD I FOUND LAKE SIDE OPTICAL PLACE AND I RECOMMEND IT VERY HIGHLY

emmanuel at lakeside optical is by far the best optician i have known in 33 years of needing complicated lenses. ive had good, even great opticians over the years but emmanuel is by far the most meticulous, the most patient and accommodating. he goes way beyond the call of duty. he is generous, friendly, honest, skilled. there is no way i will ever go anywhere else as long as he is in san francisco. i hope he stays where he is! hes the best. please check him out. you will be very glad you did.
