(date of attendance 06/30/16) I had a family friend tell me about this place after I walked into her house and she had the most amazing things. I literally thought I walked into a page of pier one imports. I said OMG I love your style you have some amazing pieces. She said oh I never pay retail I get everything at Deseret Industries. I had never heard of it and she drove me by to let me know where it was. The next day I just had to go. When I walked in the staff was pleasantly nice and welcoming. Carts were to the right as you come in the first set of automatic doors. When you walk in everything is labeled with a simple comprehensive view and layout with legible signs. At first I thought this was going to be just another Goodwill, boy was I completely wrong and pleasantly surprised. They have jewelry, new furniture, used furniture, toys for the kids, housewares, shoes clothing for men/women/children and even plus size if you need it. All organized with comprehensive price labels. For the clothing, all items are organized by type, then size and then color. My head was exploding with all the pretty circular rainbows that I saw on the clothing turn style racks. There are so many helpful people there and they ensure that you are finding everything you need/want/desire. I believe that most of the women/children clothing is $6 and under I believe pants are always $4 and some kids clothing was for $2. Most of the mens clothing is under $8. They also have pant suits for men and women most prices I saw were under $12. They have wedding dresses too, but I never checked into the prices. Most of the furniture I saw was under $200. They had whole three piece entertainment centers for $125 and under. Then they also had pianos, bookcases, end tables, coffee tables, headboards, grandfather clocks, entertainment items , lamps, vacuums, dining tables, etc.. this list goes on and on. They advertise in their store over the speakers between songs that new inventory comes out to the floor every day. The cashier at the register also informed me of this. It was my first time to the store and I will definitely be back. I am super addicted to that place now and am excited to return. I think I will be going in there quite often with the mantra what an amazing price! I dont know if I need it but I bet I can find a spot for it... All the furniture I currently have in my house has been given to me. And although Im thankful, it is time for me to branch out into my own. Deseret Industries is going to help me do that. I am so thankful that my friend turned me onto this place. Mamas going to get a whole to wardrobe and furniture too! I would definitely recommend that everyone check this place out at least once...Wait what am I doing...NO! this is my place I will not share it. ITS MINE!!

Today is 5/31/16 and today will be my first time visiting this store. Ive heard so many good things about it, but i never got the chance to walk in there and at least do some shopping, but i sure did visit the same store in Salt Lake, Utah and i can tell you how happy i was that day to walk in with only $50 thinking to myself, hopefully Ill get just a T-Shirt n Jeans with $50 but i was wrong, i walked out with 2 full shopping bags and 5 picture frames and a picture of Jesus and still have $6 change in my wallet. With this lovely store, you dont have to think twice about it, just get up, get your wallet, your keys and drive there and start shopping. I have found myself my everyday store. Yeeessss

I have been shopping at this store for about 15 years. You have to spend some time looking, but you can find great stuff. I buy all my kids jeans and tennis shoes there because theyre so affordable. Ive purchased good quality musical instruments, well-made furniture, and lots of books and craft items for the kids. The store is very clean and well-maintained, and the employees are very helpful. The inventory is always different, so you have to keep going back if you need something specific.

This "thrift store" is actually the size of a Target store and is arranged like one. I had some reservations about going into a thrift store when I was first introduced to the store by a friend, but now I feel completely comfortable walking in to browse their used furniture or books every once in a while. I have also bought nick-nacks for my showcase at times. Things available there are clothes, furniture, books, kitchenware, bags, sports goods.

I visit Deseret every Saturday. I have found many great deals. I found a Roseville pottery vase in the jonquil pattern for $3, worth over $300. I got a portable DVD player for $5 worth $70. I love Deseret because the clothes are always clean, the people are friendly and helpful, the bargains are many, and the choices are ever changing. Sorry they are closed on Sunday, but it is after all Gods day.

Since my last review Ive sort of changed my opinion of Deseeret Industries somewhat. All of a sudden their prices have gone up. In some areas their prices have even doubled. The prices of furniture has risen as have the prices of mens clothing etc. So, I believe I will travel elsewhere for my Thrift Ship shopping. What a shame, too, I really enjoyed their store. Well-organized and clean....BUT their prices are about five times higher than their Utah and Idaho stores! Come on, DI - you get this stuff for free! We know you get more than you can sell - why not lower your prices, make more money, and sell more stuff? Weve been in here four times, without finding one bargain. $1 for a kids softcover "pamphlet" book? Get real.

Absolutely the best thrift store in the region. Clean, helpful staff, and great prices. Probably the best place for clean, very gently used, and CHEAP baby clothes in the valley. Ill keep my comments and opinions about LDS politics to myself. When it comes to quality used kids and baby clothing, however, LDS thrift and fecundity makes for excellent shopping.

This has got to be the cleanest thrift store I have ever shopped at. It has your standard thrifty items. My find of the day is a Samsonite carry on lightly used for five bucks. Im stoked that I will never have to buy another carry on. This will last me a lifetime. Im stoked. The folks here are super nice. The prices are lower than the standard thrift stores.

I love this place! Pretty much every time I come here, I find what Im looking for even if Im not really looking for it. The place is clean and neatly organized, the bathrooms are clean, the merchandise is reasonably priced, the people that work there are friendly and helpful and they dont charge sales tax.

Clean, and welcoming place the clothes are better then thrift town and the prices are better too. The selection in clothing is really good lots of plus sizes and everything in between. Plus the different areas are kept clean and organized. My favorite place to do thrift store shopping.
