Dr. Adair has been my optometrist for 12 years. He never upsells, his staff is fair and professional, the prices are reasonable and they take pretty much every type of insurance. He also sees my 4-yr old daughter who wears glasses and even though he doesnt market himself as a pediatric optometrist, he is VERY good with kids, as good as the "specialist" practices, and makes everything much easier for a fidgety child. His staff is great with kids too - and adults. They have an excellent selection and seem willing to special order pretty much whatever you need as well. Its also probably the only optometrist in town where you can get a same day (or same week!) appointment. Theyve very flexible and helpful with insurance, payment, etc. The location cant be better, either - right between midtown and downtown, with a huge parking lot in the building, right off the freeway and pretty much close to everything. I would give them 5 stars if they validated parking in their own lot - every single other business in the entire building does! Additionally, a fifth star if they werent closed at lunch or had better hours would be good. A regular human being, who works a 9-5 job, would never be able to pick up their own glasses without taking time off work, which many employers dont allow: they open at 9, close at 4:30 or 5, and are closed during most folks lunch break. This seems amazingly shortsighted, and Ive never heard of an office like this having such a policy, but maybe Im just inexperienced as to the ways of the world ... but hes still a good optometrist & the office is still pleasant!

Wow. Adair was the first listing from my insurance provider. I called to schedule an appointment. The woman who answered asked me for a bunch of personal information so she could see if one of their insurance providers had me covered. She couldnt find one. So I called my provider. My provider assured me that Adair was on their list, and that the woman was looking at the wrong database. I called back to Adair, and asked if she could call my provider (not one of the three she was familiar with). She wasnt willing to call my provider to try to straighten this out. I told her I would find a different optometrist. Apparently, it was too much of a hassle to have me as a patient.

I got an appt within 3 days of calling!! There was no waiting in the lobby or office- they saw me immediately and the doc came right in, GREAT doctor (I saw Dr. Rastani), I never felt rushed and it was cheaper than 4 other offices I got quotes from ($120 versus two at $130 and two at $140. Seems high, but I have no vision insurance). Dont skimp on your eye exam- even a slightly wrong prescription can ruin your whole year! Go here instead, you wont regret it. FYI, I found 2 hour metered parking less than a block away.

My wife and I both enjoy going to Adair Optometry. We have been going here for five years and have never had any problems. Dr. Adair and his staff are great. If we ever have any questions about our eyes, Dr. Adair goes into detail...sometimes too much on the subject. Highly recommend

I have been going to Dr. Adairs office for many years and they have often bent over backwards to ensure that I have received outstanding customer service. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
