Only 4 strips in a 5 chicken strip meal!!! I have two small children and they needed food while we where traveling through Roseville. I hadnt had sonic food in years and had always loved their "Ocean water". So I talked my husband into stopping. We just wanted enough food to keep happy children. So we got a hot dog and a 5 piece chicken strip dinner at the drive through. Hot dog of for the older child. Chicken strip dinner for me my husband and the baby. The picture on the sign showed lots of tater tots onion rings and 5 large strips of chicken. Plenty of food for two adults and a baby right? Well first thing the food took FOREVER! There were about 5 very large girls just standing around doing nothing, but still our food took over 15 min. By this time my husband was highly annoyed just based on how long it all took. So, when they handed us our food he just left. In the bag we found no ketchup or honey mustard dipping sauce we had asked for, and only 4 VERY small chicken strips (remember this was the 5 chicken strip meal), 1 onion ring, about 15 tater tots, and the hot dog in a separate bag. The box for the chicken strip dinner looked like it was meant to hold three times the food. My thought is that this is an issues with this specific sonic and not the company in general. Given that my husband and kids at that point just wanted to get home I dint get a chance to talk to anyone at the store (oh I wanted to). I just wanted to let other travelers beware of this place!!! There are several other fast food options at this same exit by the freeway. If you need to stop there dont go to the sonic!

The employee taking the order couldnt get the order straight. He started with "so is that a shake and a cone". No, I have not ordered yet. What?, we have not ordered yet. Then when the food came out, the skater took it to the wrong car, then to the wrong car, then to the wrong car, we were the last car of course. The food was cold, it was simple hot dogs with mustard, tots, and slushies. Easy, but cold, the part that should have been hot, was cold. As we are eating, here come a shake and a cone. Did you order a shake and cone. No, you just brought us our food. We go here on a regular basics when we go to the mall. Time for a 6 month break. Quality of the food (the hot dogs are getting smaller and skinnier, I question the all beef too), and service was horrible. Oh, and we had upset stomachs for the rest of the day. It was such a miserable experience.

It was a poor quality experience for a Sonic. The staff was extremely slow in every aspect of our order. At one point the person stopped taking our order mid-sentence and didnt come back to finish it for 2 minutes then asked us the exact same question he asked before he left. I think they were high to be honest and I would not recommend eating here. Just go to In N Out their service is legendary and very consistent across all their locations. I find Sonic to be extremely inconsistent with their service. Ultimately its an issue with improper management and training so it negatively affects the good franchise owners when establishments like this dont do their part to live up to the brands good name.

Usually, we love this place, but our last two visits have been trying, to say the least. My daughter ordered an Ultimate Chicken Sandwich. They brought her a double bacon cheeseburger. All of the tots and fries were cold. My daughters ice cream slush was flavorless. I ordered a strawberry chocolate chip cookie dough custard, and they brought me one with vanilla. I guess the mistakes made the food tasteless. We also waited for nearly 25 minutes for our order. The time before, the food took thirty minutes to get out to us, so I guess I should be grateful. Overall, I love Sonic, but to drive from Elk Grove to Roseville for it, and then receive shoddy food is not the best day.

Well if you are celebrating anything important in a timely manner or if you expect to get what you ordered Never mind this place. Then when you get cold food and a tea that tastes like rubber dont bother telling them the truth. But no theres more! When they tell you theyll replace your order make sure you are ready to wait two hours for them to do absolutely NOTHING Keep on waiting. for your imaginary order you were told you were gonna get and waited for no reason for five different people that stare at you through The glass and wonder why you are sitting there waiting for an order that doesnt exist. Never mind your money back either. Thanks sonic.

Now Im only giving 3 stars because the food option I got was not that great. I had the chicken tenders, Texas toast, onion rings and tater tots combo. The tater tots were cold , everything else was hot , but the stuff that was hot was actually cooked too long so it was a little hard and the Texas toast was slightly burnt. The kids food was really great they said. They enjoy their burgers and their fries. So I guess just my selection was not that great. That doesnt mean that I Wont Go Back , I will just order something different and ensure that its cooked correctly. Everyone was friendly the line wasnt too long for a Friday night so we will return.

This sonic has to be the worst fast food restaurant Ive ever been to. A horrible representation of what Sonic is. Ive been to this place 4 times since I moved here a month ago and they havent gotten our orders right once. We waited for no less than 20 minutes when there was no one there, and when they were busy it was well over 45 minutes to get our food. I love Sonic but I absolutely hate this restaurant. The employees have no manners, and none of them over the age of 21. I hope corporate takes notice and fires the owner/manager. The only plus is the food is still good, but if I wanted to wait this long, I would have gone to BJs

I knew a someone who worked here. They barely ever wash their hands. Dont wear hear nets. They dont date anything so you could have a chance of getting something rotten. Bananas are the worst. All the time theyd have black on them... They only care about times and act as if they care about you for tips... Oh, if your kid ever has an allergic reaction, dont expect them to care or do anything different with how they work...call Sonic Corporate office when that happens...they wont give you their number though.. theyll give you the one were nobody gets in trouble..

Im from Texas so I have grown up with Sonic. But this Sonic is over charging their consumers. I do not like cheese on my burger but they constantly try and charge me for a cheeseburger. Why should I be charged for cheese when I do not order it? They have fixed by bill in the past but I was told tonight by the manager on duty Brianna this was the last time they would correct it. CORRECT IT??? I just want to be charged for what I ordered. Owner Mike and General Manager Dan...QUIT OVER CHARGING CONSUMERS, we work hard for our money!
