So the story goes (and its a long and meaningless one)..... I went into a comic shop to buy comics. DOI! They had a 50% off sale on back-issues so I splurged a bit. I chose a lot but I decided to economize and not buy some of the comics I picked out and even offered to return them to their proper place because I, UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE, am not lazy but one of the guys there was cool and said hell do it for me. Then as I was about to check out, this stupid broad gives me an evil eye and says something to the effect of how Im "making her employees having to work extra by putting the comics back in their place," and told me to refrain myself from pulling out comics I didnt want or something like that . I thought she was being sarcastic but her glare was still cold in which I replied which a grimacing disdain "Alright." Then she nods like as if she proven her point, still with her cold glare. Narcissistic t***! That is my experience at A-1 in Roseville. Sheer ambivalence.

This was my second time in this store and my first time purchasing. The manager was rude and unwilling to assist me in any way. When I realized that they didnt have the product I was looking for, I asked if they would call another store to see if they had the product in. The manager was all too eager to inform me that she was in the other stores all the time and assured me they didnt have the product either. I still asked them to call and the manager sighed and asked one of her associates to make the call. On this phone call the associate and the other person in a different store proceeded to make fun of the product I was attempting to purchase while I was standing in front of them. It was an overall terrible and aggravating experience and I have no intentions of returning. I wish I could give the company a 0.

Rude. Thats all I can say, the staff is rude. I went in looking for Warhammer miniatures and I didnt immediately see them, so I went to the counter. The young man behind the counter seemed to be paying more attention to his phone than me when I asked him where I could find the Warhammer section. After looking and not seeing what I was after, I went back and asked if they would be getting any more in soon and he seemed exasperated that I was still there. I later found the item and much better customer service across town at another store.

I walked into A1 comics with no idea about comics and had never had one. My friends took me and introduced me to comic books. Now I have 4 and want to go back and get more. I love this store and will go back as many times as i can as often as i can. They have a great selection there and it is an awesome store!! I LOVE A1 Comics!! I definitely recommend it! Good prices too! You can get a comic book for $3 or $4. Very Cheap!!

Ive been reading and buying comics for nearly 20 years. A1 Roseville has a great selection of new books as well as a ton of back issues. Frequent sales on all of their graphic novels, statues and games are definitely a plus. Large, well lit gaming area and a friendly atmosphere. I have not had any problems with customer service in the four years Ive been shopping at this store. But, then again, im not a jerk.

They have a good inventory for comics but their mtg and yu gi oh cards are highly overpriced. For really cheap singles i.e Deathpact angel cost me 1.68 on tcgplayer. Their boosters are 3.99 and boxes are 125. If you go 2 miles down the road to A & B Collectibles you can buy 7 boosters for 20 flat. Boxes are 100 just my 2 cents. A-1 is where to go for comics not cards.

The store itself is very large. Their inventory is huge in books, games, collectables and comics. There is a large play area for gamers to do their thing. Only bad thing about the store which is the biggest for me is some of the employees are irritable and unfriendly. Makes it hard for me to want to go there. Customer Service isnt out of style.

This is a very nice little store with a good selection of books, figures, board and tabletop games. Staff has always been willing to answer questions and very helpful. This location also holds table top, and card tournaments on a fairly regular basis. If you are in the area and want to slate the thirst of your inner nerd this is the perfect place.

I walked into A-1 with no knowledge of where anything was or even what I needed exactly, and the staff there was attentive and extremely helpful! The store itself is huge, clean, well-organized and well lit, and has a variety of different comics and game accessories. I was very pleased and will definitely be going back for everything I need.

Poorly ran shop for tcg card games. Force splitting in top because employees do not feel like running another round. No support and no pre releases for some games. Shop employees get first grabs at new product leaving nothing else for customers. Bad move A1. You were the top shop 2 years ago for all card games and slowly became the worst.

Good selection, although Im always looking for such specific things they never have! Which is OK because theyre always willing to get it shipped in! They have such a great selection of 20-sided Die sets and stuff for D&D. They have game tables too, but Im not sure if you have to rent them out or not.

Got some warhammer figures for X-Mas and took a look at them (yeah, took off the plastic wrap) to see what I was getting into. Decided to exchange them for the faction that Im working on, but since the plastic wrap was off they woudlnt exchange them for in store credit...I even had a receipt! Lame.

Found a couple great issues of Deadpool that I was looking for. They have a dedicated section for table top games thats always active. The staff is great. They helped me search through a few boxes of comics just for one issue. This is a great place to geek out and spend some time & money in.

Dont go here, staff member told me to go f*** myself in front of 10 customers when I asked if he would sell me something, cant do anything about it because hes dating the manager. I would rather shop at another store around town, great escapes and a&b comics come to mind.

There is so much cool stuff here! Board games, Funkos, back issues, wall books, statutes, Magic, dice and so much more. We try not to come on days they have tournaments cause its loud & smelly lol. But the sale days & free comic book day are always amazing!

This is one of the best shops in town for all your comic needs. They have a larger selection than just about anywhere. Staff are knowledgeable. My only wish is that they didnt have such an emphasis on cards, but that is where they make most of their money.
