The fact that this place has a rating of above 3 stars puzzles me it should have 2 or 1 star. This company chain has gone down to plain garbage sorry to say. Throughout the past years Ive notice how employees got miserable and the quality has declined beyond belief. Their food use to be actually made there now everything is industrialized with food containing who knows what chemical and preservitives. On top of that the food is rediculiously expensive burritos are like 8 dollars not including drinks expect to pay expensively for garbage food. Better off buying Carls jr were you actually get a combo meal. Ive also seen them take tomatoes and other ingredients from produce that look rotten so pretty sure that salsa aint as fresh & good as they claim. Then produce quality terrible dont last at all looks good in the store and becomes garbage when you get home with it and expensive as well. The pastry cakes arent made there Ive noticed in my previous purchases them taking the bread out of boxes and taste is clearly industrialized and to top it off there was a price inflation on them. Those 3 Leches cakes are not good anymore bread hard and my last one I had found green mold in it after closer inspection of it I noticed they just placed a new expiration ticker above the old one. Then lets not get started with management they are the worst! The Produce manager Jose is the full of it he claimed to me that their prices went up due to the weather in Mexico which made me be like dude I didnt ask for a weather report. Then the kitchen charged me extra for cheese then to top it off there limes next to the fountain drinks were old had brown spots clearly using produce limes gone to waste you pay expensively yet the cant provideo fresh limes such a downer! The recent 5 star ratings are either bots or paid reviewers or employees. Some one already pointed out that Rosy Amaya posted wrongful pictures which I as well comfirm is from another store. This reviewer either a paid reviewer or possibly a cardenas partner to give 5 star and provide misleading information. I could go on forever ranting how bad this place is but Ill let other reviewers or customers be the judge of that I am done wasting my time here but had to share my thoughts aboutique this place. Like other reviewers said spend your money were it counts this place not worth it.

If I could rate a 0 star I would thus far one of the most terrible stores I ever shopped!! To start off there was flies in the bread which made me feel disgusted. Then in the produce area the manager named Jose was pressuring & insulting his employees telling them to hurry & calling them stupid very unprofessional! When I asked him for help he ignored me the second time he answered me with a attitude! He claimed that the reasons for his prices being so high was because of the rain in Mexico. Then when I walked away I heard him mumble something in a low voice. The only person helpful in produce was a gentleman in a blue dress shirt he was kind and polite very professional I am puzzled why he isnt the manager instead. I didnt catch his name it was slightly covered by his apron. I believe his name was Diego but regardless very professional and helpful employee. The only plus this store had. Then in the meat department the lines were huge they werent using the number calling method just grabbing customers as they saw clearly they need more organization! Then in the grocery department this employee named Christian was not helpful at all he was standing in his phone texting when I asked him for help he said if its not in the shelf they dont have anymore. Then when it was time to pay the lines were enormous just 3 registers open when I asked to speak with the manager all they did was voice for this Juan which never arrived they said he was busy but when I looked the front end supervisor was going to him, he was standing talking and clearly avoiding contact with the upset customers! If you cant attend your customers then clearly you shouldnt be a store director! I really hope someone in their corporate office is seeing the reviews because your stores clearly need new store directors and department managers!! Never stepping a foot in this store until there is new management! Also hire more employees clearly all departments are lacking personal especially in the registers!!

This place is terrible and keeps on getting worse every time I go idk if corporate is even bothering to do their job and make sure that their management team is doing their job. What Ive experienced its not the employees but the management team the department managers are by far the most unprofessional. Theres a produce department manager named Jose that must have been a weather reporter in Mexico because thats his excuse for the price inflation in produce and the guys full of it. You can tell his a liar by far worse department manager Ive encountered. He also a prick to his workers Ive caught him several times calling them names and being pushy not a good thing to see through your customers eyes. My last visit my cousin ordered a cake which wasnt ready on time and to top it off the bread tasted terrible you can definitely tell they went from making it themselves to buying industrial bread. If you do chance your customs & service might as well make your cakes cheaper not worth the 30 dollar plus price! Getting out of there is hectic too dont come here if your not tolerant to long lines and terrible cashier attitude. Also before I rap this terrible review up the reviewer named Rosy Amaya sorry for calling you out but someone had to. Your review is either a attempt of false advertise or you simply reviewed the wrong store because your photos youve posted are from the wrong cardenas market. So I strongly recommend you double check your reviews before posting or dont bother posting wrongful information. That said not coming to this location over again. Taking my hard earn money some where else!

By far one of the worst cardenas around! The store literally needs a huge upgrade on management! The Produce manager Jose needs to be changed its ridiculous! Ive been disgusted how this man treats his employees. Ive witness him calling them names also rushing them like hes paying them from his own pocket. When he sees them speaking to anyone he get upset comes tells them something or all up in their business. Then he goes back to talking, clearly gossiping with other managers or ppl he clearly knows. How is that fair? Then the pastry cakes are terrible dont taste the same. My sister ordered a cake from there & the cake wasnt ready for the time we requested! Then to top it off the banana filling was from old bananas that clearly came from produces trash ones! Cant even explain how frustrated I am with the management! Even to the top the store Director Juan wouldnt see me & instead would send his pawns to take my complaints. The supervisor then said he was too busy to attend me. If this guy cant see eye to eye with his customers he shouldnt be holding such a delicate position! The recent 5 star reviews are a joke cant believe they would rate this store this high! They are either bots or cardenas pawns trying to mislead ppl with false information! I warn customers & reviewers to read the comments then youll see why so many have rated 1 star!
