In phone call interactions, brick and mortar stores have to be able to give me info, faster than I can compare on Amazon, or two day delivery has em beat. If the store rep looks up an item to see if they have it, volume of liquid product/weight of solid product, and price/price per unit would get me interested. Sadly, neither of those were offered, even though the agent went all the way to the aisle shelf (I presume by wait time) in order to assure they had it. By that time, click, click, Amazon had that info and the product was on the way. I have had better experiences with the smaller pet corp outlets, to be fair. But the larger the stores, the less the service, the one coin of the realm that brick and mortar stores could continue to excel in. :s

Had a WONDERFUL experience! This was my first visit to this location... Amanda was amazing she bathed & groomed my Molly the Maltese and she did a fabulous job exactly what I asked for! We have been trying to find a new groomer since me moved out here and she is our go to! She went the extra mile when I asked about dog food for my 10 year old dog she was knowledgeable and so sweet she helped walk my pup while I carried my daughter and even helped us out to the car! I have to say I have been going to pet smart for 10+ years and Amanda blew me away! Everyone was very friendly and helpful but she really stood out and will be back again very soon! Thank you Amanda!

I took my Shih Tzu in for grooming and I explained how I wanted to have her done because I wanted to keep her hair long shes only 7 months old. After explaining it to one of the groomers another groomer came up to me and I had to go through the explanation again and they kept asking dont you want her shaved they wanted to shave her. There were three shih tzus in there all shaved and they couldnt understand why I didnt want mine shaved needless to say Im very disappointed with the groomer and the outcome and will never go back there again and if you have a Shih Tzu and you dont want it shaved dont go to PetSmart in Rancho Cordova!

Showed a photo of my dogs infected toenail to assistant to get advice from the vet, right away, "we cannot do this unless you make an appoint." $$$$$$. All I wanted was advice since I cannot pay vet fees. My dog is suffering, where is human compassion?. Why cant the vet at least look at the photo and recommend an ointment or spray in this situation?. We have pets but not the money for surgery, all we ask is temporary remedy or relief from pain and suffering. Isnt this part of the vet code of ethics? Petsmart needs to be closed and licenses revolked.

This store didnt have most things I was looking for, and the customer service is horrible. I was buying some goldfish, I asked for some help, and the lady looked at me and kept working. I asked a different lady, and she gave me such an attitude. I was also looking for a tank and they had none. When I was at check out, and she threw the fish into the plastic bag! I bought 4 fish and they could have all died, and my daughter would of been so disappointed.

Staff are friendly and they generally stock whats needed by customers but the store seems to not have a good air conditioning or ventilation system. The store is ALWAYS Very hot, humid and stinky inside. I have been going to this location for over 5 years and has ALWAYS been like that. No matter what time of day or what day of the week. That makes it very uncomfortable to shop there. That is my only detourant from going into that store.

One of the few petsmart I can deal with regularly. Oddly enough they dont or at least at then didnt have screen clips for tanks. Wasnt too impressed with lighting prices but it is a chain so... overall good customer service keeps me going back. Theres a shorter gal that works reptiles who knows the animals very well resulting in some of the better maintained critters Ive seen in these places.

Went in to adopt a kitten and buy supplies. Was told that one of there kittens had been stolen. As a result, no one would be allowed to see animals without direct supervision but the attendant was "too busy" to be bothered to help with anything. Terrible service! Would never buy something from this company given this and other experiences with them.

Staff here are always very nice and helpful. Great selection of dog supplies - food, beds, crates, toys, collars, maintenence supplies. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars, is sometimes the large bags of the brand I purchase is not always in supply (Wellness Simple limited ingredient). They ensure people dont wait in line long.

They never have anything in stock! Every time I go in there I have told them what I was looking for and that they have run out, next time I go in same story. This is for multiple items to, not just one. I even told the manager and still nothings changed.

If I could give them a negative score I would. Horrible customer service. No one care to help. We took our sons here to get two fish and they have a bunch of lazy people who does not care about their customers. We will never return.

This store is clean & there is hardly anybody in line. They dont have too many dogs at doggie daycare. All of the staff is really nice. The only thing thats a bit annoying is drivin down Olsen during the holidays or rush hour.
