Michaels Pasadena is AWFUL!! If you know what youre going to purchase and you know where its at you will be fine. But ask for help from one of their associates and your nightmare begins!! Michaels in Monrovia is much better. Associates were knowledgeable and helpful. Please someone do a better job at training their employees. Hire adults who have a desire to work and are pleasant to people. Not teenagers who say Im not sure?" " I dont know?" Well, damm isnt it you job to be able to answer any questions a customer might have? I will drive next time to Monrovia to shop at that Michaels to avoid the hassle in Michaels in Pasadena.

Extremely fresh Mauro and Hiram. To that, bought some wasabi and yak nor, and was well on my way to some tuber- easy hand rolls for dinner. Best part is, I could walk there and not fuss with all the parking. Great stuff they carry. We are so fortunate, here in the Bay.... PS Purchasing raw filers bit more economical, as one needs to contend with the blood line. At the end of seafood counter, they also sell Hashim, all cleaned up and plastic packaged for ya. Theyll cost you a bit more..Fyi.

Their inventory is pretty strong for almost all moderately reasonable craft items. Service is awful. Management does an awful job in delegating work. Employees are usually socializing with each other while a line is formed at the checker. Checkout process is usually a tedious time consuming chore for a client at Michaels. They need to get with it and update the way they handle check out.

If you have kids youll end up here at some point or another during the school year. I like that they have a good sized parking lot and maintain relatively late hours. We generally find whatever we need for school projects here. This is where we come to first when we need something and we usually find it. When my kids are done with school I dont expect to be here much at all anymore.

Most of the workers are extremely kind and helpful, and the selection is great for the size but the guy who checked me out at the front was downright rude and entirely unhelpful. He didnt want to give me the sale price and didnt speak to me when spoken to. He was sarcastic and condescending when he finally did "help".

This is the location closest to me so I go here often for art, costume, and gift wrapping materials. But it always seems like shelves are empty and many items are out of stock. You will always end up waiting to check out, because they never seem to have enough people working the registers.

Good for what it is. The wait can be killed d of long to check out, and some of the products seem rather cheap, but generally this is the place to go for basic craft supplies. I bought some yarn here but dont expect anything fancy or unusual.

For a small store, they have a nice selection of basic frames for a good price. This is conveniently located near my local Whole Foods Market and a good, independent bookstore, so its easy to pop in for what I need.

This is I believe the 3rd Michaels I have visited with my girlfriend. It seems really small compared to the other ones Ive been to. It is pretty organized for a small place. The staff are friendly and nice.

Parking can be a nightmare, and the layout makes it hard to find things sometimes, but the staff is always helpful, and the selection is over-the-top. The staff in Custom Frames is especially good.

I really like this Michaels if only because they have everything Ive needed. The only downside is the store is too small for all the merchandise it contains so it can get very cramped and crowded.

Great place for your crafting needs but the parking lot setup makes it tough to get in and out. Avoid the lot and go for the street parking to avoid the headaches, especially during holiday time!

While there is a large selection of items here, Id say the prices are pretty high in many cases. Finding your way around here is a bit of a chore...good signage would help (hint).

Ample parking. Two story shopping. Friendly staff clean store. Elevator is hinky, sometimes you have to hold the button (in the elevator) when returning to the first floor.
