Went to Pie Hole in Orange last week with a friend. We both ordered the Chicken and Waffle pie. Speaking for myself, I was very disappointed with the pie. Im guessing there were about three small pieces of chicken in the pie. It was mostly crust and waffle, i.e., all carbs. For the price it was very disappointing. We split the Earl Gray pie for dessert and it was very good - not too sweet so I would order that again. Considering the cost of their pies, I would be very cautious when ordering any of their savory pies due to the lack of the listed ingredients. I wonder if thats the norm for their pies.

What the world needs now is pie. The Pie Holes pie are fantastic - the salted caramel pecan pie is subtle, the Mexican Chocolate proudly proclaims its allegiance to a defining chocolate moment, the smores pie nuzzles up to you with love and marshmallows when the Mexican Chocolate has been to loud. The coconut Pie challenges you to love it, coconut crust and all. But my favorite, my first love, will always be Earl Grey. Sublime, not too rich, just enough chocolate to add an extra dimension of satisfaction. Try one, try them all, just dont eat the last piece of Earl Grey.

I was a bit underwhelmed by this place. My friends had raved about it so I was excited to try it out for myself. I came with a few friends and we shared a slice of the earl grey pie, Mexican Chocolate and Chocolate Crostata w/ Caramel & Sea Salt. The pie filling was delicious though I did find it a little sweet. The main issue I had with the pie is the crust. It felt sticky and in my opinion almost under baked which took away from the taste. I did enjoy my cappuccino and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Considering I used to get my pies in OC at Marie Callenders, this is probably a big step up, but considering an MC pie is the cost of a slice at Pie Hole, Im a little bit divided here b/c the pies at Pie Hole, while good...werent THAT great? I love the setup/design/decor and that its a place you can hang out in the evening but its not something Id make a specific trip out for, but when in the area, its still a solid dessert spot.

The pies are really good, but the pricing of the menu items is quite high. I liked the Apple Crumble pie, but its a little hard to justify spending $7 on a single slice of pie. Iced tea was also around $4 and the size of the beverage was very small. Id still recommend this place to anyone with a pie craving, just be prepared to spend a little bit.

Great environment! Very polite and amazing customer service. Been here several times and they always ask how I am doing and if I need anything. Great place for a late night snack and coffee, love the fact theyre open till 11pm. One of the best nitro iced coffee I have ever tried! They nailed the cream and velvety smooth taste and body.

Overpriced. I understand the rent has to be paid. Grinders had decent prices and was good too but they couldnt afford the rent. Maybe over priced pies and high rent doesnt make for a great business plan. Sorry I just miss Grinders creme brûlée. Came here again for the second time still overpriced food is good but expensive.

Ive been a big fan of their Arts District location for years! So happy to see them here in Orange. Their pies are obviously the center piece. Ive tried most of their tasty creations and have not been disappointed. They also offer really delicious and creative empanadas. The service is great as usual! Come check them out!

Came here because our first choice coffee shop was closed (even though yelp said they would be open for another hour). Tried the PSL and salted caramel latte over ice and ALSO had a slice of salted caramel pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. All of it was amazing. Will came here again for sure. Super friendly baristas.

By far my least favorite pie crust, which was thin and didnt hold together well. Not buttery or flaky. Parking in this area is a disaster, especially on the weekends. Just one slice of pie could have bought 3 In-N-Out cheeseburgers. TLDR: In BFs words, theres better pie at Vons.

Ordered some of their house pies. They tasted good but the issue I had with them was that they were obviously reheated and not fresh. They were warm, cold, and hot depending on what part was eaten. I do not go out to eat reheated food. I would probably not go back.

Great selection of pies that rotate daily. It is pricey for a slice of pie so be warned on that. The pies that they offer are always rich and very sweet. Their coffees are also great and have a nice selection of bottled sodas which I believe contain cane sugar.

Yummy pies and coffee! We tried 4 different things here and really enjoyed them all. The strawberry lavender hand pie and the earl grey cream pie were our favorites! A bit pricey but its average for any of the little specialty dessert shops like this.

Hipster spin on classic American and custom pies. Clean, unique with friendly folks serving up yummy pie and coffee near Chapman U. Whats not to like?...well, it is a bit pricey, but its worth it for a fun experience and great pie.

Overpriced for average coffee. Had signs mixed on pantry shelf so I ended up ordering the wrong item, ended up still being yummy. Cafe au lait was too hot with too much milk. Nitro coffee, overpriced with way too much ice.

This is a cozy little eatery with some tasty savory pies and amazing sweets. A little on the pricey side of things for pies, but definitely nice for a dinner Meetup or lunch out with your partner.

Unique flavors of pies, both sweet and savory. For drinks, they have coffee, tea and other beverages such as ginger beer. Apple crumble a la mode is the way to go if youre traditional.

Fantastic pie and great coffee. Good for a sweet bite or early for breakfast. Or a late night snack. Great area as well. Lots around to go walk to while enjoying your pie and coffee.

Its okay. I would get their sweet pies. The savory hand pies are disappointing. Its not the most amazing dessert you can get in the Orange Circle but its not bad. Staff is friendly.

The pie at this place is amazing! The Mac n cheese pie is one of a kind and the apple pie is also delicious. Employees are all super friendly. Definitely recommend going here.

My wife and I visited recently and we loved our experience. The girl who waited on us, Annie, was amazingly friendly and efficient. Shes such a hard worker. Give her a raise!
