La Caretta has different items on sale for each day of the week. Fresh Mexican food and vegetables are on sale cheap, like 5 lbs onion for $1. Meat and sea food are also cheap. They sell some exotic ingredients that cannot be found in other sups, like beef shanks, beef clod shoulder roast for about $3 a pound, medium shrimp $3 a pound, Swai fillet (basa or cat fish) for $1.0 a pound ect... fantastic values. Look in their web site for their weekly sales. The market is nice, clean, staffs are courteous and friendly. We are not Mexican but gained 5 pounds after finding out the good deals in this market.

A lot of the times the store is dirty. Numerous of times the produce is bad. The store only has good deals on the produce, but it may lack in quality.The check out lines get very long with only a few cashiers. Sometimes they use cardboard instead of floor mats when it rains. On the Facebook page of the store, all the people that gave it 5 stars are the employees of the store. Try not to go there when you can.

This pinche place never has more than two registers. I only come here for the pan dulce but damn its like theres no one working the registers. Go to la superior store if you can.
