When I went I was just looking at some TVs , from there I moved towards the booths where they sign u up for a phone , I was confronted and told that they got great deals so I checked it out. I had asked an employee about switching to at&t long story short she told me what I wanted to do was possible and that theyll be able to do it , so they put me on the list only to wait a full hour and have them tell me something completely different even though it was girl that helped me at first , her and another employee then try to push me to get something completely different! Literally waited one hour only to be helped for like 5 min by 2 employees that were totally lost ! Thank you best buy for making me wait one hour just so you guy can tell me something totally different and not help me at all ! Terrible terrible terrible store and staff !

I was there on Tuesday 07/26 I was interested in buying a refrigerator i went to their appliance dept , and after waiting for almost 45 min for someone to help we receive no help at all. While we were walking around looking at their appliances one of the girls who was helping someone else asked if we needed help we said yes and she said she would call someone to assist us. We waited some more we the guy who was supposed to help us finally arrived instead of going to the front desk to see who was next he directly approach an older couple who had just got there . When he realize what he had done he said oh you guys are next . At that point all patience was gone and had to drive to the best buy in Azusa where we purchased our refrigerator.

Ive never experienced such horrible customer service in my entire life. Been waiting to get help for over a half hour. Ive already asked 2 people to help and they havent. They just passed it on like they would get someone. The last guy just told me to wait in the section I needed help in. The store isnt even busy. Theres only like 5 other people here. I finally got help from a guy who already directed me to someone else and he obviously has no idea which he already told me in the first place but another person who seems like a possible manager had him help me anyways. Watching paint dry would have been a better use of my time

The information this store gives you is heavily misleading to a point in which its false. I pre-ordered the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and was told I would be able to purchase the phone without a problem. Visited the store on release day and not only was I not able to purchase the device, but was told I would not be able to get it at all without adding a line and that Samsung had not released unlocked versions. However, I visited a Best Buy Mobile in Canoga Park the same day and walked out of the store with my new phone in less than 10 minutes. This Montebello location has very incompetent managers. Try to avoid it if possible.

First time I went here, I was looking for a Samsung Adaptive Fast Charger, and a Thunderbolt cable (to no avail). Just now, I went for a verizon FiOs gateway and happened to find a thunderbolt cable - but only the .5m, the 3m was sold out. The "sales" persons never offered their assistance, and when I approached the guy standing with his thumbs up his you-know-what, staring off into space, he didnt know what a gateway was, and only sent me in the general direction of the routers after I explained it to him. This was after I called, twice in the morning (10 and 30 minutes after opening) with no answer.

Best Buy is fine for the clientele that they cater to: the people who need to purchase technology, have the money, and have no idea what they are looking for. If you are tech savvy, you know that they have a poor selection and their prices are outrageous. The employees typically seem helpful, but when youve been asked by a dozen people, "Is there anything youre looking for?" it can be pretty frustrating. Look through their Sunday advertisement for the rare good deal and make sure to get their early, cause theyll likely only have two in stock.

Customer service is a hit and miss here. There are times when sales associate are all over you and smothering, while other times Ive been at the store for hours with no one acknowledging me. Ive also had issues with price matching. I asked about price matching an item and they used the silliest excuses to try to not match it. I ended up going to another location and the whole transaction with the price match took the same amount of time as the time I spent arguing with the sales associate at this location.

Online retailers FTW. Fewer selection choice on so many items. No micro USB hubs, no micro USB to USB adapters, no alternative on such items for customers too! And thats not just one store, I been to a few stores around the area and not one of them got anything like micro USB hubs, micro USB to USB adapters or anything similar! Tablets are quite common nowadays( whatever OS it is) and as a electronic store, bestbuy really needs to update their inventory and try to understand the market.

This Best Buy is conveniently located, since there arent really any other Best Buy stores near the general area. Theyll have most consumer electronics that youre looking for. It is not a particularly great shopping experience when you visit it and it is better suited for people who already know what theyre looking for; the sales managers are kind of like used-car salesmen and tend to be very aggressive or not particularly knowledgeable in my experience.

Worst customer service ever!!!! My daughter and I waited 50 mins in the customer service line. There was no one in front of us the whole time! only an elderly lady behind us asking every associate that pass by to help and no one bothered to do anything. I would understand if it was very busy or all the associates were working really hard taking care of the customers. That wasnt the case here. Management needs a lil motivation I think.

Not the best, Best Buy Ive ever been too. Places of improvement: they need to have inventory on high demand items. They always run out and I have to drive to another one; staff needs to help you even if its not their "department" …i hate looking for another employee when I just found one and he tells me that.; employees need more knowledge on what theyre selling......besides this cons, when you actually get help its mostly always good.

This is one of the worst Best Buys Ive ever been to. Its actually ghetto and not a fun shopping experience. There are literally stolen display units and items for sale that have obviously been tampered with. Walking into this Best Buy is the equivalent to walking into an LA riot shootout without the armed Korean shop owners. At least the staff are nice. Its a shame that I live near here and go here all of the time lol.
