I dont go in here very often, but when I do, Im always finding something new! Well stocked. Clean facility. Friendly staff. As a whole, the facility and paid employees get FIVE STARS! That being said, the baggers are too plentiful, cut back the bagging staff. The guy that continually gets "voted in" as the Chief Bagging Bagger and has been there for literally years, should retire to give somebody else a chance to run things. You know, like the Army... up or out! This guy supposedly gets VA Benefits, retirement and social security. His wife still works a fed job. And Im sure he doesnt claim taxes on pimping baggers. How do I know all of this? Because Ive had my ear to the ground and I listen to the opinion of others. Remember, this is only one mans humble opinion. Just calling it like I see it.

I Dont know how long anybody has been going to the commissary but it at one time it really was a good deal. Now between the rude baggers and the so called surcharge ( which your are told is for operational costs [ so what did they do before that to run it for all them years] and it still looks like tax) I dont see where the savings are, also I have priced many of the products in there to other stores and although there are some that are lower its not by much. so between the baggers, surcharge, and gas cost I will only stop in if I happen to be in the area and what I want is cheaper there or the same price as any other store. So much for helping the veterans. when is the public going to start making the government fall under the same laws and regs as the people.

If your an active duty or retired member of the armed forces this this is where you can find the tax free shopping in Sacramento. The exchange is next door, the have a GNC and a cell phone kiosk with all the major carriers as well as a food court. The commissary also has lots of case lot and side walk sales for added savings. Unfortunately this only for those who have served.

While not the biggest commissary weve shopped at, this store is well stocked, with the same amazing prices youd find elsewhere on name-brand products. Even though we live in South Sac, its worth the drive every couple weeks to hit up the Commissary. Dont forget your ID though, everyone must show their ID at the entrance since its not located on a closed post.

This has the best, cheapest food, bar none! The quality and quantity is amazing. Its clean with wide aisles and well stocked shelves. They even carry my gluten free bread for half the price price of any other store Ive shopped! You have to be military, active or retired and the helpful folks that load your groceries in your car should definitely be tipped.

Dnt work here as a stocker i only made $2 to $3 a hour and they treat u like a prisoner. And how is this a discount store anyways? This is the most expensive grocery store i ever been in! Every store in Sacramento that i been to is cheaper than this

Love this place. I live in Rocklin and the prices are literally 1/2 of what Safways and Raleys are . All the employees go out of their way to help you. If you go around the 1st of the month, dont be in a hurry. Payday gets very crowded.

The deals are great, but the employees for the most part have serious attitudes, especially the guys who t4y to take you stuff to your car for you so they can get tips, and you tell them no, im good. And then they cop an attitude with you

Always well stocked; clean. Easy to ask for help. Friendly patrons with a common bond. Only place Ive found Decaf for my Keureg. Prices are lower than outside. Im thankful for this benefit. Cashier polite; baggers are helpful; humble.

This Commissary located off Watt is totally awesome. Everyone is so helpful. They are so friendly and kind. I always enjoy going there to shop. If your a Veteran and meet the criteria I suggest that is the place to go.

Staff are pretty blunt and dont seem to have a positive attitude. But there are those people (veterans) volunteering there that make all the better which make it from a one to a three

I love the commissary because I can get great prices on meats. It is much lower than Walmart. Also the taxes are less. You can also get help to your car.
