UPDATE: After completing ATTs customer service e-mail survey, the store manager called me the next morning and offered a $50 discount for the inconvenience. He also apologized for his assistant managers attitude. Customer service is horrible. Bought 2 brand new Iphone 4s one evening. As soon as I got home, found that one of the speakers was scratchy and not functioning correctly. Took it back down to the store first thing the next morning, not even 18 hours later, and explained the problem. I was quickly informed they would not touch the phone now, and I had to go down to the apple store 30 minutes away to get a new phone. Fortunately I had already called the apple store who related I would receive a used reconditioned phone if I came in and exchanged my broken one. I told the ATT assistant manager Chelsy that, and she was rude and said they would not be replacing the phone. Went down the the MODESTO ATT, explained the problem, and they replaced the phone and offered a credit on my account for the trouble. Do yourselves a favor and drive the extra 20 minutes for the ATT store in Modesto. Manteca ATT customer service sucks. December 1st, 2010.

Called ahead to be assured that I could switch my account from Verizon to AT&T. Spoke to a lady who assured me it would be easy. Id get a credit for my old phone as well as a credit for switching. When I arrived they got to me pretty quickly. I informed them of the conversation and the rep seemed to understand. This is where it starts to go down hill. After the phone activation I asked when id be credited the amounts told to me by the person on the phone. I was informed I was getting NOTHING! I could only get that if I agreed to a "next plan". When I asked for the manager she was unapologetic. Judy, seemed to lack basic customer service know how. I asked her what could be done and she just said "nothing". I spent over an hour at the store to get nothing except a trip back to Verizon to reactivate my account because AT&T canceled it. This is not a place to go. Trust me. The one bright spot was that Kenneth was personable and helped to keep me calm.

Worst customer service ever. Went there today to transfer my wifes number from the monthly plan to the gophone and add her to my gophone account. After about an hour and a half, the guy who didnt seem like he knew what he was doing said he was unable to transfer the number and assured us that no changes were made to our respective accounts. On getting home my wifes number was no longer working and the guy had changed my account password as well as downloaded the gophone app to my phone without my consent. I called att customer service and was told my wifes account had been cancelled. I called the manager to complain and he was very unapologetic about it. Do yourself a favor and go to another att store

If your black or Mexican this place will not give you proper customer service, they will give you some excuse to not serve you, saying we believe your account is fraud because of your skin color and the manager is allowing this to happened. So I drove 10 miles to another store,to get the proper services I needed. I guess they believe black people are not good enough to have at&t cell phone service, for there store in manteca.. off. Two days in a row I went in to get help and both times instead of TRYING to help both employees just blew me off by standing there waiting for me to fix it myself or walk out! I get better customer service from reps over the phone! I dont know what kind of training these people get but maybe they need to have some motivational training.... And whats with the lack of casual dress attire? I know their phone reps have a strict dress code, so why dont the ones that customers see?????

I want to cuss out everybody at this damn store out. DO NOT let them convince you to change your plan here, some dude called Aaron will lie through his teeth and tell you that the unlimited plan is actually unlimited, anyways my phone bill went up from $220 for four lines to $360!!!!!! Only way to get anything new properly fixed is by calling customer service. Save yourself TIME and MONEY and DO NOT Go here.

Worse customer service. I was misinformed by 2 different representatives. When the supervisor took over, She apologized for her reps misinforming me, but she couldnt do anything about it. She tried to say they didnt misinform me of anything, but then I told her I made copies of the conversation so she put me on hold and still said she couldnt do anything

My experience here was exactly what I had hoped for. I received the product I was hoping for at a reasonable price. While they offered more products and services, they were not pushy about it. The store was clean. I opted to transfer my own data, so I cannot comment on that service. Overall, I would recommend this location for AT&T services.

Worst customer service ever especially there manager that was working tonight. Made a mistake and accidentally took the SIM card out and put it in wrong bought the phone today and no one there wanted to help us except Alfredo he tried but no luck . Told me there was nothing I could. I got it I made a mistake .

Great customer service staff. Easy to use fast pay machines. Good location. Not alot of parking but It generally doesnt take long to complete your tasks there. Lots of great product demos and information as well.
