I was very disappointed in every aspect with this business. I needed to replace an over the range Microwave. I came in on a Thursday evening, about an hour before closing. After walking all the way to the back where the sales staff are (and having not seen a sales rep anywhere in the front of the store), I stood there while at least 4 other sales reps sat at their desks. Only one other customer was present, and all heads looked up, saw me, and looked back down. I stood there for 3 minutes before someone finally asked "Did you need something?". "Yes, I need to buy a Microwave..." It only got worse from there. I stated my needs and wants (was interested in upping to a convection model), and was led to the most expensive model on the floor. When I said the ~$1000 figure was out of my price range, I was countered with "Well, you need at least 1100 watts for convection to work properly, and this is the only one that has that..." I started walking around and seeing model after model of convection units, and after learning to read the mfg tags, Im pointing out "1200 Watts, 699. 1300 watts, 599. 1100 watts, 499..." I start asking for some ideas on the differences between the units, and he admitted he knew nothing about them,"...but if I give him a model, he can look it up...." Overall, a useless, smug, condescending attitude, with zero product knowledge. I confirmed later they operate on commission, and clearly they only want to sell the most expensive units out there. I left with a handful of models, figuring Id do my research online. After identifying a model that met my needs and price point, I discovered there was a sale on them at both Lowes and Home Depot, but the only available inventory was in San Jose. I copied the ad with the $200 lower price, and called them to confirm if they had that model, and could they match the advertised price. They said they had it, and could match it. I returned to the store, and spent another 45 minutes working with them. I gave them the ad, and their response was "Wow, I dont know if I can meet that, it means wed only made $36.00 on the sale". I spent 20 minutes waiting for the supervisor, they insisted on going online to verify the ad, and then more consulting and delays while they confirmed they could meet the price. No, they dont stock the trim pieces for it, wow, were really going to take it on this deal, etc. I pay, and then head off to the warehouse to pick it up. The remainder of the tale of frustration has nothing to do with Airport Appliance, and everything to do with Whirlpool appliances, but suffice to say I was VERY disappointed in the overall treatment.

My wife and I recently had our Frigidaire Washer/Dryer pretty much die after 8 years of a ton of loads so the last set did a great job. We purchased our last round of Appliances from this store in Hayward so didnt think twice of going there first. We did plan our visit on a weekday morning as soon as they opened to avoid crowds which I recommend in general. To say we were treated to excellent service would be an understatement. We met with Steven Staffford who was outstanding in every aspect of our visit and next purchase. We essentially were guided to the newer model of what we had from Frigidaire. The whole process was pleasant and the care and service Steve Stafford gave us was A++. Instead of simply jamming our decision on an extended warranty, he walked through what specifically it covered beyond the standard warranty. We have heard that in general, all the new machines and their more elaborate electrical systems can cause more trouble, so for a very reasonable additional cost, we jumped at the chance to cover everything for 10 years. We had a reasonable Electrician out twice over the 8 years with our last machines and his total cost for those two visits was essentially the cost of having everything covered by Airport Appliance on this set. To add to our satisfaction, the delivery was well within the window we had set up and the gentlemen were extremely courteous and friendly. We will turn right back to Airport Appliance and hopefully Steven Stafford when we need our next upgrade which is sure to be our refrigerator. Thank you Steven and Airport Appliance!

Brandon Landucci Is the Airport Appliance Sales Specialist who worked with me on my purchase of a new dishwasher, refridgerator and range. He was a pleasure to deal with, and really took the time to work with me to figure out what appliances were right for my kitchen. I came in only for a new dishwasher, but appliances have changed significantly since I purchased my older appliances. After Brandon showed me the differences in style and functionality, I decided to change all my kitchen appliances out. After I had purchased the appliances, Brandon took the extra step of sending me the appliance specifications via email, as my kitchen is small and I was concerned about the fit. He responded right away to my phone calls and emails when I had questions. He also called to let me know the status of my shipment, and followed up with the third party installers to make sure they called to schedule an appointment. My interaction with Brandon was by far one of the most pleasant and efficient transactions Ive had for a purchase of this size. Ive been to Airport Appliance competitors and have been snubbed because I hadnt done enough research and was even told that I should know what I want before I come into the show room. Brandon greeted me right when I came through the door, spent a lot of time to educate me, and I couldnt be happier with the selections he helped me make. I highly recommend Airport Appliance for their selection, value and due to Brandon, their outstanding customer service.

Too bad!!!!!! I bought a whirpool front load washer from airport on June. the deliver day is on June 25. When I first time used it on June 29th , the washer did not work. unfortunately, I need to leave the USA for my long summer vacation in China on June 30th.. Although I called the technician to fix the washer, but I couldnt have time to take the appointment because it is too late. So I leave all the problem to be solve after I came back on Aurgust 17th. The technicians came to my house to check and try to fix the washer for 5 times, but still couldnt fix it. Its so frustration that I spent lots of time and energy to schedule an appointments, to save a whole day for that appoitment. most of all, it SHOULD BE a brandnew washer, as a customer of Airport Appliance, I have the right to ask the store to exchange a new one. So I contact the store and ask Airport to replace a new washer for me, but Airport is too BAD, they refused to replace a new one, and the representives did not give me response althought I left messages for them! now, I do not have my own washer to do my laundry work although I spent $2340 in this store for a pair of washer and dryer. and I still need to spend a lot of money, time, enery to get my clothes wash in the laundry store. Can you image this situation happened in the bay area? I dont want to negotiate with Airport anymore because I feel so exhausted. I just want to let more people know that Airport is TOO Bad!!! Do not buy anything in this store
