Johann and his assistant were most welcoming. I was about to gift a set of family pearls for my grandnieces Quincenera and while Johann told me their formal appraisal fee for $150 would be more than I may want to pay for this appraisal, he was kind enough to confirm their quality and give me an idea of what they would be worth if bought today. The store has many exquisite pieces on display. This is now my "go to" jeweler.
