Dollar General - why? They want to open three more stores here in Nevada County. Wednesday is our errands day. Around noon I counted nine (9) vehicles in their parking lot, and how many belonged to employees? That was the most vehicles Ive seen there. I did an impromptu survey and asked 22 people if they had gone to Dollar General and 17 said yes. Then I asked if they would go back and 16 said no. We do not need any more white elephants here in Nevada County.

Garden State Of Mind

Most of the staff here are friendly enough, except for the manager. On many separate occasions I have came in and she has always been very rude and grumpy to me and anyone else Ive observed interacting with her. If you hate your job so much, find a new one.

Not everything is a dollar, in fact their prices are comparable to a regular store. Some things are cheap and a dollar, but doesnt compare to the dollar store I would go to in Healdsburg, .CA. Dont let the dollar word mislead you.
