Differnet than places around here. Prices are definitely lower. Quality seems fair. Definitely wont be buying bruised bananas or anything like that; then again, dont expect top notch oraganic farm raised chickens. You may read reviews where people complain about the cashiers are lazy because they sit and dont bag your groceries, that its rediculous that you have to deposit a quarter to use a cart, or that you have to pay for plastic bags. However its all because its a german based store and they follow german ways of doing things. It also helps keep the cost of products they sell down. The negatives: Less variety and options. Dont expect the store to have all the normal brands you buy at target, walmart, etc. But so far with the brands ive tried they arnt bad...some are pretty good. Maybe because it is a new location, but the place gets really jammed pack in there. Especially with everyone trying to figure out how to rent the carts. Not to mention the small aisles with 20 people trying to grab the same produce.

Endlich ist Aldi hier! Ab jetzt verändert sich meine Lebensqulität zum Besseren! Man kann sich mal was leisten und hat immer noch etwas übrig so dass man nicht zum Ende des Monats hunger leiden muss. In english: Finally! Aldi is here! From now on I can better my life and gain lifequality. I can buy good quality groceries and still have some money to feed myself till the end of the month. I was not able to do this before. Around the 25th of the month I was mostly going without anything to eat.

The prices are pretty much half of places like Albertsons and Vons because alot of their products are no name brands that deliver the same quality as the big name brands. You have to bring/buy your bags and then bag them yourself. You need to bring a quarter to get a shopping cart which you get back when you return your cart. The staff is very friendly and have great customer service. The only downside is their produce is not always perfect and sometimes you have to feel/check out each produce item a little more often than you would at Albertsons or Vons. This is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I have an Albertsons a block away from my house, but I got no problem driving 20 minutes to save tons of money. Today I filled my shopping cart 3/4 of the way for only $130, at the Albertsons by my house that would be around $300 maybe more.

Ive been there twice and very impressed. The store is super clean and the staff is very friendly. I bought a cart full of groceries for $56. Anywhere else wouldve cost me $120. All regular items I normally buy -- produce (including cherries, strawberries, blueberries, etc.), cereal, eggs, milk, bread, and I even got a couple frozen pizzas that were delicious! I have never seen eggs for .85 cents anywhere, ever. The cart system is genius. You borrow a cart for a quarter, but you get your quarter back when you return the cart. No more carts all over the parking lot. No employee has to go collect them. My first visit I didnt have a quarter so they gave me one. I am very happy I found this store. I have only been there during the day, so crowds have not been a problem. I will be a regular shopper there.

what i have learned...no company gives away things for free. If it is free, they must recoup these ongoing cost to stay in business. And to do so, they most often hide these cost in the price of goods. With the cart system , it saves the company hundreds of thousands of dollars per year on less car damages, lost or stolen carts, no need for extra employees 7 days per week to chase down carts etc. Therefore, no massive amount of money needing to be recouped and thus, just one of several ways to keep Aldi cost ofngoods low...Sitting cashiers... proper ergonomics, and sitting causes less wear on the body and happier employees. This allows for less injuries and means less money paid out for medical needs, employee time off, extra employees to fill in... and yes, less money to recoup and yet another way to keep costs low.

This is NOT for trendy foody hipsters - not for people who want a full service grocery store. If you want an alternative lower cost selection of items that I would say 70% of them match or exceed national brand quality, ALDI is for you. Weve found that most of the things we buy, the ALDI equivalent is OK - a few things not so much but the prices here are lower than other stores with no hunting for sales/coupons. In the middle of the store a selection of items on "special" - like seasonal items like summer items for the backyard, pool, etc and occasional specials on a mass buy one time for select clothing or kids toys.

Great produce prices! I love to shop their home goods aisle. You never know what you will find. I picked up a set of kettle bells during January for a very good price. Most of their items are not national brands but the quality is great! They have a pasta sauce for just over a dollar a jar; canned beans are less than a dollar a can; cups of Greek yogurt for 65 cents. The cashiers can be a bit irritating. They practically insist that you run your credit card before they are finished ringing up your purchases. Bring a quarter to use a shopping cart, which you get back when you return it.

I appreciate the store trying to keep their food costs low. I dont mind bagging my own groceries. Renting the shopping cart for .25 cents is no big deal. Regarding the quality of the food, what I have tried has been very good. I mostly purchase fruits and veggies, eggs and other dairy, and some meat from Aldi. The prices are very good. How can you beat large avocados for less than .50 cents? Eggs for less than $1? Ive shopped there twice now, usually on a weekend afternoon and crowds have been reasonable and I dont wait too long in the checkout line.

Very clean, mostly well stocked, a little difficult to find everything youre looking for since they might be in cartons, and checking out is slightly difficult if you dont use a cart. If you only but enough for a (reusable) bag, you have to hold it for them to fill while checking out, then pay. Other than that, great prices and friendly staff, even with the awkward customers still trying to navigate the new concepts of renting a cart or generally not being victims of consumerism as they contemplate new brands.

ALDI has great deals on the everyday essentials, while still having (what are to me) niche products you wouldnt expect at reasonable prices. Today I got 3lb of white onions for 99cents, pound of butter for $2.80, and a dozen eggs for 77cents. Its like a discount Trader Joes (Theyre actually own by ALDI). If you give it a shot just walk down each aisle and youll find something that interests you. Just like Costco and Trader Joes you can trust non name brand products to be of excellent quality.

Great prices! Only thing is you have to bag your own groceries (bring your own bags) but this helps keep cost down. Also, usually there are not a lot of registers open. However, prices are less than half found at other large stores. They carry name brand items as well as their own. Their brand is usually identical to other name brands just packaging is different. Food quality is good. Store reminds me of a cross between Fresh/Easy & Grocery Outlet. Happy Shopping!
