This place is a joke! If I wanted a donut with no filling then I would order one but here you get one regardless. I asked for a custured FILLED donut and find out it only had a "teaspoon" of custurd in it..lol.. (I wish i took a picture. Maybe the next sucker can and post it) sooo, no problem right? Wrong! I bring this up to the owner (or Tom which I suppose is the owner) and he claims that is how they make them. He tells me people dont like lots of custurd in their donut bc its too sweet (yeah sure) Then he goes on to tell me he will put more cuturd in it if i just ask... Ok so i ask him to put more custurd in it! He then tells me in the next breath he is done with custurd fillings for the day.. lmao. What a joke. Ive passed by this place a hundered times and now I know why I never stopped. I just got my money back and split. You are way better off at VG donut...Stay away unless you like getting ripped off!!

A DONT MISS PLACE! Absolutely the best donut shop on the planet! Hard working Tom and Emily give you a lift just by going in. Tom has an amazing memory, just mention your name and hell recognize you and greet you by name the next time you show up. Hes remembered my grandkids names over the last 13 years when they visit once or twice a year from Arizona. Just love to watch the little kids with their faces pressed against the display gleefully making their choices. Needless to say the donuts are outstanding...the proprietors even better. Quick-witted Tom can banter in at least three languages that I know of. The place is spotless, with a flowered outdoor patio, with adequate parking. - Big Papa (Leucadian)

Best donut shop around! Leucadia Donuts is Leucadia! Tom and Emily are Leucadia! Great people who take the time to talk to you and actually care what you say, always ready to share their smiles. Excellent donuts; apple fritter is of course bomb but Im a huge fan of the old fashioned. I didnt realize I had begun to take their donuts for granted, was thinking their quality was status quo when last week a coworker brought in some from Albertsons. Wtf, I could barely finish the thing. There is no substitute for true small town small businesses. SK Leucadian

Probably the best donut shop in all of north San Diego County get there early if you want to have the world famous apple fritters make sure you dunk them in your coffee because once they hit your coffee they absolutely become heaven. Tom and his wife do a wonderful job of making sure the customer is served with the absolute freshest coffee and the freshest Donuts if youre traveling anywhere south of LA make sure you hit Leucadia donut Shoppe

First, I have to say that the apple fritters here are the best fritters Ive ever eaten. Unfortunately, they run out very every morning. They always have a bunch of other doughnuts but they dont make enough fritters. We used to drive an hour to get these doughnuts but not any more. Tired of making the drive at 7am only to be disappointed to find out they sold out. Its really too bad. They would be a solid 5 star based on taste.

Living in upstate NY we dont have very many donut choices. Well do anything to get some Krispe Kreme. I am very sick of dunkin donuts. These were absolutely amazing and reminded me of Krispe Kreme. Only downside was a dozen donuts costs $14.50 and all they take is cash.

Donuts are good... but its cash-only (despite how easy it is for small businesses to get a square reader!) and has weird hours, so the place is kind of shady. Would recommend they accept credit cards and just put in a $10 minimum purchase.

They brought out hot maple frosted donuts and we were in heaven! Cash only - good opportunity to pay it forward as there is always someone who didnt know it was cash only and you can buy them a donut and make their day.

Better get there early donuts are so GOOD they often sell out by 10:30am. Highly recommend them and I eat donuts all over the city. Super fresh and dont taste oily
