I went to the Ace store in Dbar couple of weeks back to return something and the customer in front of me laid his goods on the counter and told the cashier he had to go back for more. He came and put a few more things n then asked the cashier where he cud find something he wanted for his bathtub n left again to go find it. After waiting patiently thru all this I then asked the cashier if she cud finish my transaction n her reply was "Ill ring you up when Im ready". Thats when I got really mad n told her you expect me to wait till this man goes around the store looking for things and getting them one by one? She then proceeded to attend to me and when she was done stepped back to look at something and I asked her Whats your name? she pretended like she did not hear me and I repeated it louder and she replied its on the receipt and then told me BIANCA (after realizing that its not there on the receipt. I later called and was complaining to the Manager when I got cut off, I called again and another Manager answered and I proceeded to tell him the reason for my call and he said ya I believe you were talking to my other manager. And all the time I was telling him about my complaint he just went huh huh, like I was telling him a story. No apology or any regrets at all. I really wish I could get hold of the telephone nbr. of the owner of the store?????

We walked in at 6:50 on Friday June 3rd 2016, 10 minutes before closing. We were looking to purchase paint samples by Benjamin Moore. The staff looked like we just ruined their quiet time. The entire paint section was blocked by the bbq grills (Im guessing) they keep outside. I asked if we could see some paint sample cards. The employee said "let me ask my manager"...ok. The manager came by and looked bothered and huffed that he had to move the bbq grills out of the way. Not friendly as advertised. We purchased the samples, but will not return to purchase anything else. Not a good experience. Would give no stars, if possible.

If you need anything at all, GO HERE FIRST! The help there is wonderful. I do all my shopping at Kens. They have been around for a while and have always had what I needed. I understand they have new owners, but I havent noticed a bit of a difference. Kens Ace Hardware is where projects begin. Everyone is very knowledgeable and polite. Go to Kens Ace Hardware they are the best.

Customer service is pretty bad. I ordered a small storage unit, was told would be in Wednesday by noon. I get there still waiting for then to unload truck, was told will call within an hour truck should be unloaded, 3 hours later no call, so I called and no answer.

Sad when one of their highest ratings, comes from "Brad", who happens to be the owner of the store. Unlike what he posted, this hardware store has changed a lot since they took ownership. Like "rp" says below, there is a home depot down the 60 freeway, both ways.

I honestly cant not believe how rude the staff is here! No help at all, I cant believe even around Christmas time people can be so unhappy. Please I urge you not to come here go to home Depot down the street, dont waste your time at ace hardware in Diamond bar!

This store was better when David was around. Employees are rude and the store is a mess, not to mention they are selling cheaper quality merchandise. Plain crap if you ask me.

I love this place! They actually help you and are friendly and small townish. There are people who know how to cut keys, are knowledgeable about what they sell.
