The produce at Irvine Ranch Market is what brings me in the door. Its always beautifully displayed and tastes as good as it looks. Theyve got a large selection of baked goods: cookies, bagels, miniature cakes, and breads. (My favorite confection is their almond cookies--crunchy at the edges and soft in the center.) Irvine Ranch Market also has a wide and funky variety of dry goods, from tequila lime salsa to bubble gum flavored soda. Me, I go there for lunch. The soups are delicious. My favorites are the potato leek and the mushroom soups. The deli meats are quite nice (primarily Boars head meats.) On the downside, the store feels really dark as its only windows are at the front of the store. The layout of the store is like a maze; its not in nice, neat aisles like Ralphs or Vons. And, as Taranntino notes, the staff is hit or miss. Some are friendly and some are surly.

I love this place for lunch, but only gave it 4/5 stars for two reasons: prices are a little high, and the outdoor seating area music is AWFUL and LOUD. Avoid speakers at all cost if you eat outside. Sometimes you can even hear the music over the planes taking off at John Wayne Airport. Awesome salad bar, sandwiches, soup and sushi. Great selection of overpriced produce, chips, cheese, wine, beer... This place is a little like a Trader Joes the way they pack all this good, unique, and varied food and products in a tiny (and frequently hard to navigate) space. Never tried the butcher counter, but it looks delish también.

I am a flight attendant, & I visited the IRM on a layover two years ago & fell in love with it. I love, love, love the German Chocolate Cupcakes, but then I love everything about this place, the only thing I dont like is they dont have a location in Florida where Iive. Other than that this place is " awesome sauce". I have taken several flights attendants with me when I layover there, guess what they fell in love to.... Not surprised!!! Move to Florida I will welcome you with open arms....

Love my corner store. They always have random stuff you wouldnt expect (brown rice spring roll wrappers and gochujang for instance). They also have been greatly expanding their organic produce. Pro-tip, if you go to the meat counter get their chicken jalapeno sausages, they are amazing. Also their deli sandwiches are giant and delicious, my wife can split a full sized one and be totally stuffed. Totally happy to have these guys in the west side Costa Mesa neighborhood.

I went here once, not sure Ill go back again. Extremely expensive but I guess it fits in Newport Beach. The layout of the store is painful to navigate, everything is diagonal and tight packed. I went for milk (organic) and a half gallon was $6.49! At Ralphs down the street the same thing is only about $3.99! The staff is friendly though, so commends to that. My check out was fast and easy. TL;DR: ridiculous prices, weird inconvenient layout, nice people.

This market is quaint and has a neighborhood vibe. Be cautious, as the price tag reflects how much the rent must be. Their salad bar is fantastic and abundantly stocked. They really do have a smaller selection than a big box store, but they do a good job at combining both chain store items, and some more organic "not so processed" items too.

A great market with a surprising selection. Their meat and fish counter is fantastic and their salad bar is the best Ive come across in the area. The only downside is the parking but that cannot be helped.
