So I took my 1980 Suzuki 1000 in starter button, flat tire, clutch , and it had a issue of after riding it about 20 minutes the bike would die, I generally had to wait 10 minutes or so and it would start again. I was moving from Chico to Gilroy . When I drove it first time in Gilroy , the same thing happened, I called Wayne in the service department and he drove down from Chico with a trailer and some parts, then followed me while I test drove it , again it had issues so he looked asked on the trailer and took it back to Chico , about a week later my motorcycle arrived delivered on a flat bed trailer, turned out to be a wire behind heat shield would short out when bike was hot and kill the motor, then when it cooled down it would start again. Wayne drove down here on his day off worked on my bike , trailered it back to Chico fixed it and shipped my bike back down to me - all at no additional cost to me , talk about above and beyond, Wayne said I paid him to fix my bike and it was not fixed , they stand by their work and did whatever it took to fix my bike. Thanks Wayne for going out of your way to make things right .

I purchased my first bike from there in 2007, my 2nd in 2008. I have came in & out of the store at times from then for parts & accessories. Always had great customer service from my experience. Parts guys know there stuff pretty well, all of them own bikes too, so thats a huge "+" in my book. Prices are pretty comparable to on-line places too. Had a problem with some gloves almost a year after purchase & they took great care of me on that too. Great shop, Id recommend them to anyone. 2015 Up-date - I wasnt able to ride for the better part of a year due to my motorcycle being in five different motorcycle shops over that time. All shops put their hands up in the air & couldnt figure it out. I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN IT TO CHICO MOTORSPORTS FIRST! Live and learn, right? Within about four days I received a call from Chico Motorsports with a solution. Im not going to mention the other business names. They know who they are. Thanks again Chico Motorsports

Terrible service! I went in a few weeks back looking for a helmet but couldnt pry the staff away from chatting with their buddies to get any help. There were a few customers wandering the showroom looking at bikes including me. I was in there for 10 minutes and didnt even get acknowledged. I gave up on the helmet shopping and started talking with a customer that mistook me for a sales staffer. That guy couldnt get anyones attention either so he started asking ME questions about the different bikes. He said he was going to check out another shop to get some help. Good work making people feel avoided when they walk into your store guys. Do these guys want to sell motorcycles or just bulls**t with their friends back in the "service" department? Wake up CMS! Youre not the only bike shop in town. There are other stores that fall all over themselves to help customers when they come in. Im certain that I will not revisit CMS ever again.

AMAZING! My husband and I went there yesterday (6/16/12) to buy two bikes. We walked in the door, right past the sale guy; he did NOT acknowledge us... we were the ONLY customers in the store!!!! We looked at a few of the bikes, still no acknowledgement......We finally settled on two bikes we wanted to ask questions about.......A lady walked in needing a helmet......Sales guy up and showing the helmets......still not a word to us (WOW) mind you there were two other guys at the parts counter.......finally I had enough and told my husband "lets go!" .....still nothing.......Left .....went to Yuba City MotorSports and.....20K later we had our two bikes.......Will NEVER step foot in Chico Motorsports again!!!!!! Really!! Is that all you can say; "Where is the review from the lady I helped with the helmet" WOW! YES! We are enjoying our bikes very much!!

Ive bought two bikes there and I had a good experience. What really stands out is the pricing. I bought both bikes well below MSRP. Where most dealers gouge theyre happy with a smaller margin on their bikes. They have no competition close by which makes it more surprising that they sell at a lower profit margin. Service has always been good in terms of quality of work and getting the work done on time. No gripes there at all. Theyll really get tested tomorrow when I bring in a 1980 KZ750 tomorrow thats been in storage since 1988 (Ill report back on how that goes). The only ding I would give them is that they are heavy on off-road gear and accessories while light on street related ones; given this area has so many dirt riders, however, this really isnt surprising. THEY ARE CRIMINALS! Brought my bike in on a Friday for a simple brake shoe replacement. Told it would be done Saturday. On Saturday they tell me Master Cylinder in busted, needs a new one, which will arrive Tuesday and be ready by Tuesday evening. Tuesday rolls around they forgot to order the part, so they do so and tell me it will arrive Thursday and be ready Thursday evening. Today is Saturday and the part still hasnt arrived, they dont know if the order has gone through and they arent sure when it will arrive. This is a simple part. On another occasion, brought my bike in to get a tire replaced, took them 2 days, then they told me starter had gone wrong and wanted to charge me for further tests. Turns out the idiots were trying to start the bike with the kick stand down.

i bought a brand new bike from here 3 years ago and it was it was a really pleasent expierence. i since have bought parts and had almost all of my work done there. i had my eye on one for a long time and they stated two hours after closing getting my bike ready so i could ride home that night and also CHRIS KELLEY was the man who finally got my account approved. took him TWO hours with them but he finanlly got what rate i needed in my monthly range. truly great expierence and when its time to upgrade they better believe that i will be there front and center ready to buy buy buy again. great shop and friendly staff.

I moved back to Chico in 2003 and had a couple of less than happy shopping experiences at Chico Motorsports. So I quit shopping there... and infact I told others not to shop there. A couple of years ago I gave them another try and was pleasently surprised at how things had really changed. I believe Chris Kelly and the guys have really turned things around. I have had great service and great deals ever since. Now I tell everyone about how good it is to shop there... Good place to get your Moto Deals. Kent Collins AKA Kento-Moto

Horrible service, I bought a brand new bike here about 5 months ago, after I broke my bike in I went to tighten my chain. Long story short the axle nut was cross threaded when they assembled it. I explained the problem to them. I ended up having to spen $110 on parts that were messed up because of the guys in there shop , they dont stand by there work or the product. I will never shop here again I would rather drive to Roseville than shop at this place.
