I had a Terrible experience with this store. Bought 3 pair of their overpriced shoes. One Pair completely fell apart. I brought the pair back in and they gave me a 75 dollar credit toward the newer model which had gone down in price. I took the newer model walking shoes home and I had a terrible pain on top of my foot. I brought them back. The girl that waited on me was rude and insisted on charging me another 27 dollars plus tax on the new pair exchange. I am now out 105 plus tax in the exchange. I told her it was not fair to give me what amounted to a 63 dollar credit when I was originally given a 75 dollar credit. Then they changed me on a new pair which had gone up against the old pair which was now selling a a reduced priced. I was screwed coming and going. I never took back a pair of shoes in my life and I am 70 years old. On my original order I was given a 15% discount as I worked for a school. On the exchange no discount so they took advantage of me for another 15%. Pretty sad when they think because you are older you cannot see when you are being hustled !!!!! Of course they offer you the free water when I left. Instead of arguing with this girl I just left. Big hustle.....and really took advantage of me.

I came in during my lunch hour; drove 20 minutes one way to get there from Carlsbad. The staff seems helpful and supportive. However, if you are not being helped, expect to wait there 20 minutes! Not kidding. I was welcomed to the store and told that I would be helped. But after 10 minutes of waiting, and hearing a store clerk is still talking about dogs, and how they make him feel with a customer for another 10 minutes it becomes down right ridiculous. I knew the shoe I wanted (1400V4) because I run in them everyday. Do not go here unless you you have nothing else to do in your day - like a retiree. Bring a lunch, a movie, and your own chair, cause it will be a long time... for shoes. Yes, shoes.

Having a wide foot is never a good thing when youre trying to find shoes at a local store. I own New Balance shoes in extra wide and i know they fit me well. I was so happy to find out that this store carries a good range on extra wide shoes. I called ahead of time looking for the pair i wanted. They had it, i came into the store and Cassie helped me out with with and make sure my big toe was in the right spot. I am thankful, happy, and pleased that my drive from Escondido was all worth it. I WILL come back here for all my shoe needs from now on.

I came to New Balance after much stress trying to find a decent pair of running shoes. My feet are slightly different sizes, so it is always very dfficult to find a pair that will fit me comftorably and stay comftorable throughout my entire run. The service that I received at New Balance in Cardiff was amazing. The man who helped me was friendly and actually cared that I got what was right for me. They are reasonabley priced, and the quality is amazing for what you do pay. In my opinion, this is the only place to go for athletic shoes.

Not only do they actually fit you for the proper shoes, if you have a problem, you can return them and exchange for a different pair! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Once you purchase a pair of shoes there they can look up your past purchases in order to compare to what you are buying. I highly recommend purchasing running/walking shoes here.

A great shopping experience. They personally fit your shoes here, which you never see any more. Staff is very courteous and helpful. I have narrow feet, and they had my size for a lot of the styles. A+

I like getting new shoes, but when it comes to like personal stuff like they ask you if youre thirsty and shoe size, just blow them off in every possible way.

They say they will return your product if your out of state (tourist). However they do not answer emails or phone and thats just a dishonest establishment.
