I do love babies r us and havent been happy with many in-store purchases when they were actually in stock, but recently had a crappy experience when they ran out of something and then I had to order it online.... They listed something with a Quantity of 12 in stock. Drove all the way over there, and they looked around and found zero. No one really cares about whether you can find something or not over there. One lady was nice enough to order it online for me to be shipped. I thought this was too good to be true...and it was!! I later checked my bank account the next day and found out they DOUBLE-CHARGED me (so TWICE the amount of the item was deducted from my account). I called Toys R Us and they said that this policy of initially double-charging was clearly listed in the account (nope, under a bunch of small print legal mumbo jumbo). Ive been ordering online for over a decade, and never has this happened (least been part of their "normal policy"!!!) I said, what if my balance on my checking account was low, and then the bank charged my for overwithdrawal? They should be more clear and upfront about weird policies. But then again, if they were, I doubt people would buy from them. What a rip off. BE WARNED.

Very bad costumer service! I was there to purchase rollerblades for a xmas gift the rollerblades werent in good shape box was beat up the blades scratch and dirty. Unfortunately that was the only please that had them period looked everywhere before going to this store. I saw the manager and asked if they give damage discount he replied with ( I can give you 10%) then he walked to the cashier and told her give her 10%. (Know Im okay with that he tried right?!?) Well my thing is that he then made a comment to her in almost her ear then look at me and started laughing. You never do that.. I was so bothered I return rollerblades for full refund. NEVER EVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!! If I could give it a no star I would! Nobody ever help or asked me if I had a question or needed help.

I went in on may 10th and I had a very good experience with the store.I had a associate her name was linda that offered me a toys r us credit card she offered me a credit card and told me the benefits of the credit card.so I applied for the credit card and I got approved for the card then I went to go look for her so she can help me purchase a couple of items which she helped me pick out all the items wat I was looking for in a very fast time she knew where was everything was, I had a best time at the store of toys r us it was my best time.I want to thank her for her help,service she was a very kind lady I would definitely shop there again thankyou.

It does have lots of toys, thats for sure, but it mostly caters to toddlers and its a veritable nightmare of sensory overload with a clientele that is, well, loud. They have some screwy policies. For example, I paid for several items and I didnt notice that one of the items had the tag ripped off. I was told that they couldnt sell it to me because it was now considered stolen merchandise. I asked if they could go get another one for me and they said that I had to go get it and wait in the long line again. Wow! Thats so anti-customer service.

Im an attorney, I walked into the store with my infant daughter and her stroler to give my checkcard to my wife and I was accused of stealing a toy we had bought at TARGET that was under my daughters car seat. even after I showed the fat cow the receipt she proceeded to tell one of her low paid acolytes to follow me to try to get my license place. I have never been treated to badly in my life. this is not over.

Toys R Us has a great selection of toys and its a very clean store. The staff is always friendly and my daughters love coming here. Its a much different experience than going to Target or Walmart. It sort of reminds me of when I was a kid and going to a toy store. If you want some of the exclusive legos or new release of a new toy line, Toys R Us usually has some of the most competitive prices.

I tried to return a few gifts without a receipt and they tried to give me back 50% of the value. because they said it was there current sale price and when I went to a different Toys R Us, on the same day, with the same Item they gave me back the 100% credit. this Alhambra location tries to rip you off if you dont have a receipt.

Returned something at the Alhambra store today and they asked me for my drivers license... the girl was flustered & didnt return it. Ugh... 3 calls in to them where the machine says "We strive to be the best" yet no one answers the darn phone & the answering service disconnects you! Ughhhhh!!!! Frustrated!!!

My goodness the staff and customer service here was miles ahead of anywhere else Ive experienced in a long time, with the help of a sales floor employee "Belen" who without hesitation was outstanding! And so were the ladies at the customer service desk! Kudos and thank you very much!

Im about 20min away from the store and I called to check whether they carry baby strollers in store. I ended up being put on hold for over 30 min on the phone combined just hoping to save 40min round trip. Are they understaffed or simply no one cares to pick up the phone??

Pretty good selection of toys and video games, even if some items are overpriced relative to other major brick and mortar retailers. Price matching can definitely help with that, though! Generally helpful staff. Lines are usually not too bad... except peak holiday season.

They mean well but they rarely greet and they are generally understaffed. Going on a weekend is that scenario times ten. Good luck if you need help because no one is very helpful. I prefer other stores like Target but we had a gift card for her Birthday.

Very large Toys"R"Us store. You can find pretty much any toy you can think of, also lots of baby things from cribs, to baby clothing. And there is a great video games section.
