UPDATED 5/5/17... I received a message from my mother in law stating THIS FLORIST SHOWED UP AT HER DOOR TODAY and HARASSED and DEMANDED the FLOWERS BE GIVEN TO THEM AND RETURNED!!! Unbelievable and absolutely disgusting business ethics!!! Never go to the receiver of a gift!!! DO NOT purchase flowers here!! If the item would have been provided correctly Sunshine Florist, there would have never been a problem in the first place!!! 5/4/17 So disappointed!! Here is a picture of my birthday flowers I thought I was ordering and what was received!!! I ordered directly from 1-800 Flowers. This was supposed to be a special birthday present!! This is Not what I ordered!!! I ordered what was pictured and they delivered a poor quality version of it and skimped incredibly on what was pictured! Terrible terrible quality, only 3 white carnations, 3 pink roses, and 2 stems of mini pink carnations! Nothing like what was pictured for my order!!! This was a birthday gift!! I wanted a beautiful bouquet for for my mother in law. Then to top it all off, after contacting 800-flowers about the quality and volume of what was provided, this florist had the audacity to CALL my in-laws and discuss whether the flowers were "liked" enough and wanted to pick them up! Fact is, if you provided what was pictured, there wouldnt have been an issue. Fact is, this is a cheap version that was delivered of sub par quality and less than pretty. You dont call the receiver and harass them about a complaint about their special delivery. You call the purchaser! What poor customer service quality this store front has. For the amount spent, you could purchase the exact same style and car at your local grocer that probably would look nicer for $20. I paid almost 4x that once all was said and done through 800-Flowers. Terrible experience, awful management. NEVER EVER call your receivers of gifts, ever!

I went into this local florist last week for a simple boutonniere for my daughters prom. Upon entering I was not greeted or told "Ill be with you in a moment" as she was helping another couple. I simply stood and waited for a good 10-15 minutes while she helped them. Fine, I would have overlooked that. Then I asked about getting the boutonniere that day a Friday) and she said (while pointing at me) "If you want today, then you wait. We close at 3." Now why they were closing at 3:00p on a weekday was never explained to me. But fine, I was willing and happy to wait. I told her I just wanted a single red rose. Then I asked "do you have any other white flowers besides babys breath, and she said "we dont have other white flowers. You dont want babys breath, maybe you like to go somewhere else." Upon which I said, i think I do!" and I left. I have used this florist in the past when it was owned by DIFFERENT people and they were lovely. However, it was sold a few years ago and this is the second time they have been rude so I felt I had to write. I have never been treated that poorly by any business, ever. This is a small town, and your business depends on word of mouth. Quite frankly, if she didnt want to make it or didnt have time, she could have just said that and I wouldnt be writing this. But the way she spoke to me, without any regard to me being a customer and a future customer, was so disrespectful, I could not let it go. SIDE NOTE: I went to Westlake Florist from there and told them the whole story. Not only did they make me a boutonniere while I waited, but they could not be nicer. Theres was even less expensive! THAT is a great business that has been owned by the same family for 30 years and I highly recommend you go there. I should have gone there in the first place, but they are further from me so I was trying to be quick. Lesson learned.

I walked in at 2:35 pm to get a corsage for my wife. I will be taking my wife out for dinner with 3 other couples to celibate 55 years of marriage. Tenny the owner of the shop greeted me and asked what she could help me with. I told her i needed a corsage and with her help we figured out what i would be happy with. Tenny asked when i would be back to pick it up and I told her i was in a hurry and I asked if i could please wait while she made the corsage. Tenny smiled and said yes no problem. I was very lucky, Tenny stopped what she was working on and made my wifes corsage and 20 to 25 minutes later i was walking out of the shop! Thank you Tenny and my wife thanks you!

Recently bought an arrangement of flowers to give the ICU staff at Los Robles for the professional and personalized care for my wife. We are celebrating 5 years of recovery from a serious illness and wanted to do something special for the nursing and medical staff. Sunshine Florist listened to why we wanted to send flowers and put together a beautiful arrangement. The service was excellent and so was the pricing. If you live near Agoura Hills, I would recommend trying this florist out...I dont think you will be disappointed. They really want to meet the needs of their customers.

Im baffled that the owner is still in business. I walked in to purchase flowers for Valentines Day. Because it was the day after, the owner directed me to a cooler that had a couple of remaining bouquets. Immediately, I noticed the poor quality of the roses, since they were brown and wilted. The owner became defensive when I asked for fresher flowers, and told me not to buy anything if I didnt like her store. She was extremely rude and has no clue about customer service. The flowers at Vons were nicer anyway.

I hope an owner sees this. I hope the person I dealt with is not the owner. I called to ask a question about flowers and the woman (Lee, she says her name was) IMMEDIATELY hung up on me. I called back to tell her I wasnt finished and I had other questions, and she told me she was too busy and shed call me back. When I told her not to, she laughed at me and hung up again. WHAT??? Literally the rudest person Ive ever dealt with in my life. Save your money and find another florist. Disgusting.

Wow, I received a beautiful bouquet from Sunshine Florist, it is huge and loaded. And I was so thrilled at how conscientious the driver was, as he left it on my patio, and used a chair to protect it since I wasnt home yet. Thank you so much for your great customer service!

We were so pleased with our prom boutonniere and corsage. She was able to match the ribbon perfectly to the dress and was very helpful. Highly recommend Sunshine Florist!
