My husband and I have enjoyed dining at Cracker Barrel for many years. The food and service are always very good. But, tonight we had the pleasure of being served by a waiter that was exceptional. We had started our day out with plans to lay tile on our floors, but we had an electrical fire in our home followed by loosing our air conditioning. Trying to save money, we tried all day to figure out what was wrong and fix it ourselves. By the time we figured it out and drove from Heber Springs to Lowes in Conway to buy parts, it was 8 oclock at night. We had not eaten all day and were hot and tired. We prayed we did not get a chatty waitress, we were too weary to talk. Our unlucky day changed and we were blessed in having Lance Simpson to be our waiter. He was polite, composed, professional and respectful. It felt as if we were being served by the top french waiter in a fine restaurant in France. He anticipated our every need before we ever had to ask for anything. It was so refreshing to see someone take pride in their job. I am 55 years old and have worked as a waitress when I was young and have gone on to run my own business. I have always tried to do the best possible job that I could, no matter what that job was. This young man was exactly the same way. He will go very far in life as long as he continues to treat his profession and the people around him the way he did us tonight. I wish to encourage his employers to give him a raise quickly. I was shocked to hear he had only been working there a week. Because of this gentleman, we left Cracker Barrel feeling relaxed and refreshed. And even though we were going back to our home with no air conditioning, it did not feel quite as daunting as it did before. For the first time ever in my life, I gave a $10 tip on a $20 ticket. And this young man deserved every bit of it. Thank you Cracker Barrel for hiring this young man and please pass our praises and best wishes on to this fine gentleman. Sincerely, Vicki & Don, two happy and satisfied customers

Passing through Conway, AR, I witnessed the most humiliating sight a "manager" could do. I think his name was Herman or something to that effect. He proceeded to verbally abuse an employee to tears . This was done in the center of the dinning area. Everyone in the place had a dazed look on their face. This was due to a common mistake made by servers (no big deal). I tipped the server in question $25 even though they were not my server. I pass through this area with my team several times a year. But after this, NO LONGER. That was the most disrespectful thing that I had seen in a long time. I encourage others to find a more tolerant place to eat when passing through Conway(Nazi) AR. Thank you Hermon Hermand or what ever your name is. I only wish that I could give ZERO stars!

I love their clothes and seasonal assortment of decor for your home. The food was just average. My husband got one of the special campfire grilled dinners wrapped in foil. He chose the chicken dinner. When he opened the foil packaging the food was literally swimming in grease. It was served on 2 plates because the grease was also under the plate the food was placed on. Definitely not healthy or worth buying unless you loved food dripping in grease. If you love grease, this meal is for you. My food was just average. Some people love Cracker Barrel, but we are not fans. To be fair, we have never eaten their breakfast meals so they may be good.

We were in on 10-12-2016 at 11am , a busy time for them !! We got in and served quality food and quickly!! The waitress was nice and friendly as well as all the employees are!! We enjoyed the other customers as well. I talk to people especially Veterans or Troops , thank them for their services!! I love the stuff they sell and its decently priced some cost more and some cost less, and right know they are on like a Owls and Cardinals them as well as fall and Halloween. The lunch/breakfast was delicious and so was the service!! We will return to this Cracker Barrel!! Thank you for your kindness to the customers!!

We were seated right by the entrance to the seating area (very very bad spot to sit.) We gave our drink order and food order all at the same time thinking it would speed up service. We got our food, they slid it on the table, said "hope ur ready bc its here" and quickly left. We had to flag our waitress down for our drinks.. Dont even think ab getting a refill. Food was good, but other than that, wont be back to this one. Was glad when we got to the truck so we could get a Dr. Pepper out of the ice chest..

This Cracker Barrel has more of the old country store atmosphere than many. The service was second to none. The kitchen could use a little work, I found out that they were breaking in a new cook and it showed, the presentation of the food was a little off, the food its self was up to par, they did however make mistakes in my order. The wait staff got them fixed in short order. All the staff were very professional yet friendly and in general looked to be happy.

Over the past 6 months or so, Ive noticed the quality of the food has actually gotten better at this Cracker Barrel. We go there probably once every week or two. Before many items were a bit too overcooked and came out just warm. Lately, things have been cooked just right and brought out hot as expected. Never had any issues with the servers at this Cracker Barrel any of the times we have gone.

The service is really good and friendly and very rarely do they make a mistake on a meal. Last night they forgot to put any seasoning on my steak, which is a rare miss. But that being said, it was cooked exactly as I requested and could easily cut with a fork, no knife needed. And everyone knows their breakfast is always spot on. I think th8s is my 7 year olds favorite place to eat.

Visiting Conway for a ball tournament and ate here late one evening. Service was fantastic!! The cook forgot to put fries on the plate with my sons burger and the server came back with a big plate of fries for him. The sever always filled our glasses and checked on us constantly, but not to the point of being annoting. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I love shopping in the store while we wait for our table to dine in the restaurant. I always find neat things there and I love the "back in the day" candy. Ive ate breakfast and dinner there and I love both. Ive only had one incident where the waitress was very rude and unconcerned about her customers other than that staff has been very nice and continually checking on you.
