I purchased blinds there. Sales rep Linda was fine. Process of ordering was fine although took longer than I would have liked. Dealing with their installers is not a great experience!! Both times they never called me like they were supposed to to set up appointment for installation. I had to call them and then they give you a date for installation but wont give you a time until that morning..... so they call you that morning around 8 and say "we will be there at 9" or say " we will be there around 3-4". So you pretty much have to leave your whole day open. They are not very friendly on the phone. If I had to guess, Id guess they are not employed by Pennys but are a 3rd party and dont really seem to care about the customers level of satisfaction. When they came and installed the first time, they did not tell me I had to remove my old blinds or there would be a $10 per window charge. So, I had to run around and pull the blinds down myself at the last minute. Dissapointing!! The installers did show me an easy way to pull them down and they generally did a good job and were friendly......I probably would not recommend buying from Pennys unless you install yourself and would not use them again.

Found part of what we were looking for (needed multiples), wanted to order the rest. Got shuffled around the store until we finally spoke to a sales associate about ordering the rest of what we were looking for. JCP seems like theyre still in the dark ages as far as technology is concerned - the associate we worked with needed to call other stores to locate what we needed then we were told we had to go get it at that location (30 minutes in the opposite direction). In the age of Amazon and online-merchants, JCP is falling behind. They cant ship to my house or even to a different store? Ouch... Good news is that the sales staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous!

Im surprised that this company is still in business. Although the store itself is fine, the online shopping & shipping experience is terrible. I ordered an item online (which took an absurdly long time) and had it shipped to the store. When I showed up at the store, I went to the desk designated for online pick up. No one was there. I stood there for 15 minutes, and no one was there, and no one acknowledged or helped me. I left, came back on a different day, and still no one was there. This company does not seem likely to last through the 21st century.

I shop here all the time and have shopped at Penneys since I was a kid(my mom actually used to work a a catalogue store in a small town) They have a great selection of sale and clearance items. Their regular prices are somewhat inflated but they have great sales. Its one store I can consistently find clothes that fit a tall, skinny guy like myself. The J Ferrar and Stafford fitted dress shirts are great for skinny guys! I buy nearly all my dress clothes from Penneys.

If youve been to any JCPenney, this one is exactly like all the rest. Some of the staff could help you for an hour to find the perfect pair of pants or pan set, some cant tell you which direction the mens department is if you arent standing in it. Their products are mid range in price and quality. Its a great place to get most of lifes standard items.

Excellent JCPenny. Stocked nicely and carries a large inventory. As far as parking goes at any of the Tempe Marketplace stores, you luck out finding one of the first 5 spots near the door. The line to check out is ALWAYS long but they have at least 5 cashiers on hand to accommodate that. I shop here frequently, and will continue to do so.

Prices are higher than other places (Read: Amazon). Also, we went on a slow Saturday and their check out line was terrible. It was too skinny and you were bombarded by too much crap. Not a good experience and we walked out without buying anything.

4 stars becaue the older woman at jewelry counter was super rude and never offered to assist me with my purchase. I complained to a manager and they quickly assisted me and apologized several times for the other womans behavior
