On 6/1/14, I purchased several pieces of furniture from Mega which was to be delivered to our new home some time in September (we didnt have the exact closing date of our new home at the time we purchased the furniture). We were told to call Mega once we had a closing date on our new home and give them approximately two weeks advance notice as to when wed like delivery. I actually called Mega with four weeks notice and set-up a delivery date of 9/10/14. On such date, our furniture was, in fact, delivered. The wood console that we ordered was defective & we immediately told the delivery men to put it back onto their truck. Notwithstanding the fact that Mega had significant advance notice, only one of our two couches was delivered and it was defective! Luckily, we noticed the defect and had the deliverymen remove the couch immediately from our home. We also ordered a master bedroom set. Our sales receipt specifically requested that certain hardware (we were given the choice) not be installed on the foot-board. Unfortunately, it was delivered with the hardware installed. Additionally, the bed was not able to be put together by the deliverymen (I guess they werent properly trained) despite their efforts to do so. I immediately called the store we bought it from and spoke to the new store manager, Victor (who did his best to help us). He apologized on behalf of the company recognizing that Mega screwed-up every facet of our order. Two days later, he sent a different service technician to our home to put the bed together, however, he was not able to acquire the two couches for us at that time. We made an appointment to have the two couches delivered on our next visit to Arizona; 11/10/14. That day finally came and despite the fact that the deliverymen were supposed to be there between 2-4 pm, they didnt show up at 8pm! We wasted an entire day waiting for them! They brought a new foot-board (without the hardware as originally ordered) and brought only one couch - not two! We refused delivery as the color of the couches that we ordered were not common colors and we were concerned that two couches delivered separately wouldnt come from the same die lot and thus, wouldnt exactly match. We couldnt believe it; we waited from September to November to get our two new couches and they werent able to accommodate us despite having such significant advance notice of such. Victor promised us that the two couches would be delivered by Friday of that week. That Friday, my wife waited all day for the delivery truck to show up. Finally, after calling them to find out about the whereabouts of the truck, we were told that the two sofas were not able to be delivered to us. The frustrating experience with this company was unbearable: inexcusable delays despite significant lead times, tardiness in delivery, poor quality as evidenced by the fact that we had to refuse delivery of a few pieces of furniture and several broken promises forced us to cancel delivery of the console and the two sofas. I highly recommend that anyone considering a furniture purchase at Mega reconsider their decision. My wife & I were able to purchase excellent furniture at two other Arizona furniture stores at comparable prices with on-time delivery for the day promised. My experience at Mega was so bad that I would not even consider walking into another Mega Furniture Store for the furnishing of my new home. One further comment: My wife & I purchased our home in Arizona as a second home (we are from out of state). Everyone and every company that weve been fortunate to meet in Arizona has been wonderful. We will not let our absolutely horrible experience with Mega to defray our other wonderful experiences that weve enjoyed in Arizona.

Price was good, sales was good. Follow-up is terrible. We had a back order item, which was delivered 2 weeks later. The recliner mechanism is bad per their tech that came out. They will order and have part delivered to our house. Why not to their store? Now I have to be home to accept that and also when service comes to repair. I have called the Mesa Store and left message 2 times and no phone call back. Customer Service person promised to call me to give me tracking number so I can arrange to be home when part is delivered. That was to be 2 days ago, still no call. I have tried to call their customer service phone number (different than Mesa store) and NO ONE answers the phone, no matter what extension I use. And no, this is not a scheduled day off. They are terrible at follow-up. No one returns phone calls. I got them to call me in the beginning, because of an email I sent to Ashley, not the phone call I made to Mega. Obviously they respond to Ashley, but not to a customer that just spent $10,000 in furniture. No, I am not trying to get out of a contract. I just want answers to when repair is going to be done. Also, they keyed my last name into their computer wrongly and I cant get them to change it. So I have to remember what the wrong name is, so they can look up my order. Inept. They have taken their money and ran. Two days later and NOT one person has called me. I have tracked down customer service by calling different extensions at their warehouse. My calls to the manager at the Mesa store has not been returned - NEVER. Repairs are set for this Saturday at 3pm. Hopefully it will take care of my problem. So if you are looking for Mega to be proactive to a problem. Dont. You must call them to get problems resolved. They do NOT return phone calls...EVER.

First, let me start out with the store itself: They use super white LED lights on their furniture, so the colors are going to look different in a household setting. My parents bought a couch that looked light in the store and when they got it home under normal lighting it was a lot darker. All sales are final, so if youre set on an item in this store please be sure! But the customer service on this place is HORRIBLE!!! The representatives are extremely rude! They told my parents they would deliver the couch on Tuesday and have it written in the paperwork only to find out the day of they dont even deliver on Tuesday!! So my parents were without a couch for almost two weeks! So when my mom called the store to see why the mix up happened she talked to the manager, John, who became very agitated and even began to raise his voice which is completely unprofessional! Even when she spoke to the district manager about Johns behavior he was completely appalled. So when it was finally delivered on FRIDAY they wrote down the wrong address so they were a bit later that anticipated, but what brings us back to the LED lights was we questioned the color. The delivery men told us that the lighting was different in the showroom but it looked darker! When we called the store to make sure that they even delivered the right one we got skylar, who was just the same as John, very rude, didnt bother to help, basically they just blame the lighting and the only way they would take the couch back was if it was diffective. So basically beware of this store, you could probably find a better furniture item elsewhere with better customer service. Beware of John and skylar, if you ever get them in person you might as well just walk out of the store! Please just beware!
