Ive been going to Scooter Therapy for over two and a half years, ever since I first bought my scooter there in May 2009. I could not be more consistently pleased and impressed with the quality of the service as well as the people who work there. Everyone is knowledgeable about the bikes and accessories as well as very friendly and approachable. From my own experience as well as observing other customer visits, they make a real effort to make you feel comfortable asking questions, even if you have a limited mechanical background, and are always happy to provide instruction for self-help remedies and repairs that may be useful in the future. Their price estimates and service charges are incredibly reasonable - no "hidden costs" - and the staff have gone out of their way on several occasions to give me above/beyond service. This is a true community shop where they care about their customers - there may be other shops in the area, but Id have no incentive to keep coming back to Scooter Therapy time after time if this one werent so great. No bubbles, just fact.

I got work done on My scooter, I paid for it and this creepy little guy (the owner) gives it back to Me and it broke down as I got around the corner! Then I take it back to him and he wants to charge Me $140 for the repair that another shop did for $40! Also this shop has a WWII German Nazi plane model hanging in his shop, what a freak!!! And also his employee picked up a large wrench and was trying to make threats at Me for disputing the price, We were yelling he wanted to fight up until he could tell I had no problem with throwing down, then He apologized, but tried later to do the same thing till he backed down again. All the people there are a joke and theres much better and well priced service You can get somewhere else. This place was the most ridiculous thing Ive ever been through in My entire Life!! Dont go there unless You want to see the same thing. And all these other comments are seriously so bubbly and fake!!!

I recently bought my username-title bike, a 1979 Kreidler Flory 24 (as well as a Kreidler MP-19, which I am giving to a friend). It is an EXTREMELY temperamental machine, and on a couple occasions, a problem has sprung up that i didnt have the tools to fix. I simply went to Scooter Therapy and they immediately gave me advice on how to fix it, as well as how to prevent it from happening in the future. On occasion they even selling me parts for both bikes, for basically catalogue price. They really know their Pedal-Start Mopeds, and they are hands-down the most professional repair shop in all of Madison.

The worst customer service ever! Owner wanted to scrap out my vintage moped for miner repairs. I found out from another employee it is really rare and in great condition. I was also told a he could fix it easily and then finally 2 months later finally get the estimate and now he wont fix it or put it back together. Almost 3 months now and he still wont give me my moped back that he wont fix. Rude and tried to rip me off! They still havent given me my moped back after 3+ months for an estimate and it is was running great and now in pieces! Awful experience! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID SCOOTER THERAPY

Fantastic experience. I brought my scooter out of storage after six years (after using it constantly throughout winter in Madison for six years) and these guys got it literally running like new. They took care of a host of major & minor issues, actually less than what I was expecting, for a simply amazing price. Their knowledge of and care for their craft is tops, and I will continue to visit them for any future needs. And the cat Sunny is a doll... Another small reason Ill bring my scooter back there.

Randy has serviced my Bajaj Chetak several times and Ive always been thoroughly satisfied with the work done. Ive also purchased accessories here on two occasions and the prices were very fair. Ive made two road trips from Chicago to have work done here and will gladly do so again, if necessary. In regard to the review objecting to his "recall Walker" position, grow a pair and get over it. Even as a business owner, hes allowed to have an opinion.

I was quite pleased with Scooter Therapy. After having a bad experience with another shop, I call this place. As my moped was my only source of transportation, they came to pick it up on campus for only $10. My only complain was that the estimate did take a few days, and it was a hint pricey. However, once I called to check on it, they bumped it up and had it fixed within hours of the estimate. Thanks for saving my moped!

Bought a Kymco ZX-50 at Scooter Therapy 6 years ago and have always had it serviced there. I have 20,000 km on it, and the only problems Ive had have been related to regular wear-and-tear / maintenance. They always fixed it right, fixed it quickly (well, one time took a week, but that was unusual) and did it for what I felt was a fair price. Id recommend them to anyone.

The people at scooter therapy were very helpful in determining my moped issue. I emailed them three times to pick their brain and they gave me valuable information. I then even brought in the part I was working on and the guy at the counter was happy to help me out. Always a great experience with them and I would recommend to all my fellow moped ers :)

First I want to say that I think that your web page with the RECALL WALKER on it is completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! Secondly, I WOULD NOT RECOMEND that you ever have an INEXPERIENCED person maning your store that can not make a decision. I came there yesterday to BUY a scooter for my son. What a joke. NEVER GO there !!!!!

I trust the maintenance they do there, which is the most important thing to look for in a service shop. The atmosphere is not very personable, but in my limited experience, they do good work. Randy is very upfront and honest about things. I did a "walk-in" and he dropped what he was doing to fix my scoot while I waited.

I bought my first moped last year, and have gone to Scooter Therapy to have it serviced a few times now. Their service is exceptional, and their prices simply cant be beat. They truly go above and beyond in their work. I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for great service at very reasonable rates.

I went all over town to have an old moped tire replaced and after being denied at four other places, these guys kindly and quickly took care of my tire while offering much needed advice and parts on my difficult home repair. Highly recommend them, dont waste your time anywhere else.

Hands down the most well stocked parts supply and the most knowledgeable experienced staff in town, probably the mid west. Dont assume that a car mechanic or a Harley mechanic knows how to fix a scooter or a moped. They are their own animal and need a scooter specialist.

I dont tell you how to fix scooters, dont you tell me how I should vote (on your web site). I dont care which side you are on, it is not the way to do business. One formerly loyal customer now looking for someone else to service my scooter...
