I want to thank Paul Mahe, Sales Advisor and Mr. Bushee, General Manager of Safford Of Fredericksburg for ensuring that I had an excellent experience in buying my 2015 Dodge Challenger Scat Pac Shaker in October of this year. It is one thing to handle the Sales Process very well as they most certainly did but yet matter another when something needs done after the Sale. The day I purchased the car was dark and rainy outside and some long scratches in the paint near the fuel filler door went unnoticed by both Paul and me as we looked the previously owned car over together. Paul wanted to make sure that I was fully satisfied but because of the rain water covering the scratches on a black car, it was an easy miss by us both. When the weather cleared two days later and the sun was out, I then noticed these scratches and notified Paul. Safford was eager to repair the scratches but because I live three hours away from the Dealership, Safford allowed me to find a local Body Shop known for excellent work so that I could avoid the long drive, a wait for the repair likely having to leave the car there and return home again and another trip back after the repair In Fredericksburg. That is what I call excellent Customer Service and looking out for the Customer while adjusting to a unique situation. Safford did this without hesitation, hassle or delay while trusting my word that indeed the scratches were not caused by me on the drive home or after the fact. Mr. Bushee and Paul saw to it to reimburse me quickly and quietly after prenting them the invoice. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate these very Classy and Professional People at Safford Of Fredericksburg. Without hesitation, I recommend Safford very highly to anyone considering a new or pre owned purchase. Safford stands out positively from the crowd of Dealers and believe me, I know the difference as I have bought many cars over the past 40 years and have a basis for comparison. Go see Paul Mahe and say Hello to Mr. Bushee at Safford when it is the right time for a new car. Safford Dodge is the best dealership that I have had the pleasure of doing business with. We bought 2 cars within 3 weeks from them. The first salesman was Bob, he was very enthusiastic, professional and was very quick and thorough. The second vehicle we bought was from Dale. A good guy that took care of me and my families needs. Both salesman were attentive to our needs (and our wants). They communicated clearly and very upfront about all matters of the car sales. I never got the feeling that somebody was trying to take advantage. Marilyn was the quality assurance manager and she was very thorough about reviewing the paper work, and most importantly that we were taken care of. She even helped us recover our previous vehicles extended warranties and maintenance packages saving us thousands. Joan was the sales manager and when she recognized us during our 2nd purchase, she went out of the way to help close the deal. She definitely went above and beyond. There was not a single step of both our purchases that didnt go smoothly. I am impressed because it wasnt just a one time show but a consistent level of perfection. Scott our finance manager was also pleasant to work with. He was also very professional and thorough, making sure all paperwork was correct and most importantly understood by all parties. As a member of the armed forces, if i had a junior member buying a vehicle and they were doing business with Safford. I would feel confident that he or she is being taken care of and not being taken advantage of. If you are looking at buying a vehicle and this dealership has it, this is the place. Great Job Safford, I would give you 6 stars if I could.

This is a long review but its definitely worth reading if youre looking for a good place to buy a used car: My experience at Safford of Fredericksburg was better than I could have ever expected. I went there knowing which vehicle I wanted and met Eileen. She gave me the car for 24 hours. After that I went ahead and purchased the vehicle. Unfortunately, a few days later I started having issues with the car and took it back under warranty. They were kind enough to pay for a rental for the time being. When I received a call from their service manager stating that the vehicle was being sent to Purvis Ford for further service because the problem seemed to be more complex than thought. I was not happy at all to say the least. After this I called Eileen and the Manager of Sales and stated that I did not want the car. I found the same vehicle at their Warrenton location, 2 years newer, and they transferred the car down the next day at no charge. I went in and loved the vehicle, since it was also the All Wheel Drive edition that I bought it. It gets even better. There were a few accessories that were in the original car that I wanted and they allowed me to switch them between vehicles. The sales manager Duane was so awesome and took even more money off the price of the vehicle since it was more expensive and agreed to fix the front rotors since I felt they needed service. All said and done if I could give this place a 20 out of 5 stars I would! Please give these people a call if you need a used vehicle! They are truly customer service driven and you wont leave disappointed in what you get!

I have bought 3 vehicles from Safford in 4 years, my last two visits not good and the most recent visit to their service department was horrible! I took it in for heat and AC. My previous service guys does not work there any more( who was great!) so this new person was hard to track down to get an update at 3:50 in the afternoon mind you I had an 8 am appointment!. Now I needed my car for the weekend (The day was friday) after calling 3 times for an update and the forth time being on hold for almost 15 min they found the lady and she proceeds to tell me it will be over $900 and they will not have the parts in till Monday. I told her to pull it off the rack and put it back together ( only took it there because i thought my Car was still under warranty). Then miraculously they have the parts and it will all be done in an hour.... I refused and took it to my mechanic total cost of the job was $260. scam artist - Rip off.. I also took my car 6 months prior to this happening for an oil change and was told my car at that time needed work done.. the car was 2.5 years old at the time such BS.. I looked up what they said need to be done and was still over 30,000 miles away from even needing that work done. I went over to the desk to let them know what happened and that i will never be back and the other lady in sales ran after me to get my number so the GM could call me... GUESS what almost two weeks later no call!! I will never buy or get service from Safford Dodge ever again!!!
