What an AWFUL experience we had at Walmart at 26 W Merritt Blvd, Fishkill, NY 12524 Store #1810 on 06/18/2017 between 9:00 am to 9:31:19. Nancy (CSM) at this location, reminded us of a school yard bully. She treats the employees and customer with total disregard, no respect. My husband and I frequent this store quite often and had NEVER had any issues with any associates. We had a great time through out the time we were there shopping until the end. We proceeded to line #19 and waited patiently, Nancy (CSM) who was at registrar #20 was calling next in line. We went to her registrar with 2 carts full of items, she did not look too happy at how many items we had. Her first comment out of her mouth, was my registrar is not open Im only helping the next customer in line. We looked at each other and said we are the next customer in line. After a few minutes, she proceed to state you did know that this line is 20 items or less. Im sorry but when you call "next customer in line step down please" and did not specified "next customer in line with 20 items or less" how is the customer suppose to know? I apologize for the inconvenience to her and she just rolled her eyes. A few minutes later, she than proceeded to be very nasty and sarcastic towards my husband for no reason. I asked her why does she have to be nasty, is there something wrong? She than threw one of our items in the air and looked at us. I proceeded to asked her where is the manager, she stated that the store manager was on vacation. I said okay, where is the manager that is on duty now. She said she didnt know. I told her to please stop the transaction and asked for the manager on duty to come to the registrar. At this point, we did not want to deal with a "bully." She went towards another empty registrar stood there for a few minutes and came back and stated that the manager will be there shortly. I thanked her and she walked away. Ten minutes later we are still waiting for a manager to come to speak with us and nothing. The cashier at registrar #19 apologize for Nancy behavior and asked if she finished with the transaction. I told her thank you and no she did not. Nancy came back towards us approximately 12 minutes later, and stood behind us. I asked her, can you please tell me what our total is right now. She told me to look at the screen myself and that she did not want to talk to us and get into more trouble. A simple $419.00 is your subtotal would have been suffice. I told my niece at that time to please take a video of the incident or a photo of her to file a complaint (see attached). She walked away and went towards the customer service area, and called for an assistant manager to come to the registrar. Now if you already notified the manager the first time around (which she claimed she did) why would you have to do so the second time? This is when I notice that Steven (Assistant Manager) approaching her and talking to her. We waited another 5 minutes thinking that they will be over to us shortly. That was not the case. 7 minutes later, I approached the Customer Service desk and ask for them to call the manager over so I can file a formal complaint against Nancy (CSM). They pointed me over to another Customer Service Manger Ta-Neick (I apologize for not having the correct spelling). She was with a customer, I stood aside until she was finished. Once she was done, I started to tell her what happened thats when my husband waived me over because finally the ASM showed up to talk with us. It took 24 minutes for a ASM to approach us, I mentioned that to Steven and he blatantly lied to us and stated that he was in the back storage room doing receiving. And that he did not hear the intercom or radio that he was being called to a situation.

For last 3 times in a row, we had very very bad experience with the bakery dept of this walmart. We ordered a birthday cake last week for our baby who just turned one. We chose the little skirt cake from the catalog. The old lady who took our order promised the cake would look exactly like the one on the picture, but when we got it 2 days later, it looks very different. The details on the skirt were all missing, and the skirt cake looks bad. The old lady(who is not the one who took the order) looked very anxious when we picked up the cake. We were wondering why. When we got home and try to set up the cake, we found out the little figures were all broken. The little girl figures head was broken off at the neck. It must be that the old lady who prepared this cake knew about this but still gave the cake to us. Maybe she dropped the figure and broke it, but try to hide her mistake. Thats why she looked so upset when we picked up the cake. Now, how do you feel if you spend the money but get a defective product, which kinda ruined the birthday(our baby is too little to notice anything, but we felt bad as parents). If walmart continue to hire these seniors who shouldnt be there in the first place, we will not go to walmart bakery in the future. Im also forwarding this complaint to walmart headquarters. Will try get the names of the person who prepared this cake.

I hadnt been to Walmart in years. Not needing to purchase much, I just went to the stores in town to pick up a few things now and then...but then I moved closer and needed a variety of things, so I decided to try Walmart (again). I purchased one item and it wasnt what I needed so I returned it. I had No problem at all, and the service was fast and friendly, even though there were a number of people in line at the service desk. Then I went back to shop for miscellaneous other things I needed and I was able to get them ALL ( but one that I got at Best Buy) and at great prices. I even found some LARGE clothes and sandals, that were perfect and not expensive! AND they had some things Id needed for a while, that I wasnt able to find in any of other other stores, in town or at the malls. The check-out was great too... fast and friendly service. Everything in the food section was neat and clean and well-organized.... I must say that its a great improvement over the last time I went there several years ago when the shelves were half empty and the stock was in the aisles during the day. I was able to get everything I needed, found them easily, and was out of there in "no time"... even though each time I went there was around suppertime when commuters were stopping in on the way home from work. Its been a totally satisfying experience this time around

You have to really make sure you are getting a good price. Not all are the best. NEVER enough registers open so be prepared to wait awhile on lines esp weekends & feel like you are in HELL surrounded by miserable people.. The Higher ups are not friendly as I would like & they should be but one of the Managers named (Cody) Sweet & shy type w/Long black hair is "TRULY AMAZING" & Everytime I need help, He will absolutely go (OUT of HIS WAY) for anyone happily & get it for you.... Some workers go out of theyre way as well to help you find something & others can care less rudely to help at all & leave u lost & empty handed feeling like you are not welcome. ... Please, open more registers up, Re-train a lot of your staff to be nicer & helpful.. No matter how rude some customers may be. I called this morning 15 times in a row & no one answers as they have No One for phones.. I got lucky the 15th time only because she was walking past the ringing phone.. Her name was "Shariz" and was incredibly sweet & professional.. It turns out she was the "Ladies Dept Manager".. She had no idea I was writing a review.. Surprisingly she was very helpful & so sweet as it was not her job to answer the phones.. Thank God for workers like her or I would never shop there again..
