I received my exam from the Dr on site. Brought it to the counter, picked out my frame and waited for the call that my glasses were ready. I waited 2 weeks. I got a call that my prescription will take longer then usual and theyll call when theyre in. Never got a call. I called them, and they said my glasses were ready and that someone had called me. I argued this, they argued back, and I got no where. I get my glasses and I cant see a thing. This is not my prescription. I got an ear full of how its stronger now and nodding patiently through the lecture, I inform them again, this is not prescription. They put the glasses in the viewer thing and tell me this is what the dr ordered. I repeated myself for probably the 4th time that I cannot see a thing. I had to reschedule an exam for he dr to verify the prescription. He literally says to me "I have no idea how I came up with this prescription, but your prescription has not changed" He brings me to the counter and tells them to copy my old prescription. I wait another 2 weeks. I go for a fitting and I still cant see out of these glasses. They blame the frame, and make me switch from the plastic frame I chose, to a wire frame. I wait another 2 weeks. I go in and the glasses still havent improved. I sat there for about 30 minutes listening to them lecture me about the tilt and angle of the lense and they twist and tweak and still no improvement. Im frustrated to the point of just needing to leave. I leave with this crappy pair of glasses. I did all kinds of maneuvering on my face and they still wind up back in the case. Go somewhere else.

The doctor in eye group was great, but should have taken script and chosen eye glasses some place else. First I was given to a young man who was new and had to as his co-worker how to do everything as he sat there slumped back in his chair looking bored and bothered by the whole transaction. I finally asked for his co-worker to handle me (since she was doing all the work) My eye cover couldnt be reached by phone so I picked my glasses and was told that I would be called when coverage authorized.I received no phone call that day so I called mid-day the next day and was told that she just got in and would have to get back to me by the end of the day. Still no call that day I drove over there the next day (Sunday) not realizing they were closed. I called Monday and the person handling me wasnt in yet so I asked for the manager. He found my order and processed it and said it would be ready the same day. I went the next day after work... was told I was called (they had an incorrect phone number for me)... practically had my glasses thrown at me... was abruptly asked "do you can a case... is red okay?" and "do you want lens spray?" and out the door I went. No one serviced me to see if the fit was okay I was just handed a card to read to see if I felt the glasses were effective. I have gone for glasses to many times over the years, but I have NEVER received such awful service and lack of customer care. If youre looking for great customer service, pleasant and helpful employees dont look here... the worst.

So i have a new health care and vision plan and shopped around for eye doctors..apparently this dump showed up. I call them asking if the definitely take my insurance and they claim they did. Of course they cant "answer before the exam" of how much ill pay initially. So i get the exam and pay 95 dollars for contact exam. Okay no problem. I have to do a "follow up exam" 3 weeks later and pay 20 dollar co pay.. oh no wait!.. they tell me i have a balance of 40 as well!! hahahahaha so now my 95 dollar exam turned into $155 i could have went anywhere for that!!! ANYWHERE yet they "take my insurance." I call up my vision plan and they said no they are not a provider. So they scammed me into using them and unfortunately what am i supposed to do? they already f***ed with my eyes so now i need to get contacts. I took my prescription and left.. i will NEVER use this place again. Pearl Vision in general are bunch of scam artists Word to the wise if you are going there, i would double check with your insurance to make sure they actually accept you. If i would have went to a REAL provider, I would have paid about 60 dollars.

Walked in with my prescription, I had just gotten new insurance and LensCrafters is not in my network now. Went on a Tuesday afternoon and was the only person there looking for glasses. There were three girls and a young guy behind the counter, I told them I was looking for sunglasses she pointed and said these are our sunglasses. They all just sat there looking annoyed when I asked a few questions about a few different pairs. after picking the pair I wanted I sat down while the one girl put my info into the computer. She came up with a total and I asked for a breakdown her response was to flip the screen towards me and say well it was this then with your insurance now its this. she couldnt tell me why or how it got to that amount and just seemed irritated that I had asked her to explain. I am an incredibly laid back person and I was blown away by the lack of care and over all poor customer service I experienced that day. Its been two weeks and I still havent gotten my glasses yet. I would rather go out of network next time and pay almost full price at Lenscrafters then go back to this place.

Service is A++! I have been going to Pearle Vision in Toms River on Hooper Avenue for about 3 years now. When I first discovered I needed glasses, my mother took me here and weve been coming back ever since. Dr. Randy Nissinoff who is the owner of this store, has been taking care of my eyes and it is always a pleasure to see the him and the staff twice a year once for my anual exam and once to purchase a new pair of frames. I usually buy their Tory Burch frames and always come here for the newest pair each year! They have a great selection and the one time I wanted a specific pair that they did not carry, they ordered them for me on the spot where they make them in the store itself. I got a call two days later to come and pick them up. Ive gotten soo many compliments on these! I would definitely recommend taking your family to Dr. Nissinoff and Dr. Iuliano.

The Dr. took his time and was very through. He accommodated all my daughters needs and made sure her glasses would be the correct prescription. Everyone was polite especially the Dr. and the gentleman who sold my daughter her glasses. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. He was very nice and patient. We got exactly what we were expecting and are very happy with the results. I never write reviews but I felt I had to because this is the 3rd eye Dr. and eyeglass place I have tried since I moved here in 2012 and none of the other places ever got her perscription right. I will never go anywhere else. I will be getting my glasses here as well. I highly recommend them. Staff is very knowledgable and informative. Her glasses were ready in 5 days and they were perfect.
