Went in to look at a car. I heard a knock on the window as I walked up to the office and saw a man point to a door on the side of the garage. I walked in and was greeted very politely by Amiri. I asked about someone to talk to about purchasing a car and was asked to step into his office. He gave me a list of cars with mileage and prices. I inquired about a 2011 Toyota Corolla as it had 25000 miles and was listed for 8000 i asked why it was so low mileage and price. He informed me that it had been in a collision and he had purchased it at auction. He showed me pics of the damage before he fixed it and it wasnt that bad a little work on the left side of the car and it looked brand new. He gave me the keys and me and the wife took her for a spin. It rode very well and seemed like a new car almost. We took her up a couple of the rougher roads up the street that are on the hillside and are nice and twisty to check the steering and the power of the engine. I purposely drove over a couple of potholes to check the suspension after the pics i saw and it all felt very solid. All in all it seemed like a solid car. We havent bought the car yet but its at the top of our list of options. Will post update if I buy the car. I also liked that he warranties the cars for a couple months after purchase. Tells me he stands behind his product. Update: I ended up buying a 2007 Honda Accord with 79000 miles on it. I had it for about 2 months when I started hearing a grinding noise coming from what I thought was the front brakes. So I went and bought new pads and rotors and installed them myself. When I took the car for a test drive I could still hear the grinding and took a look at the rear brakes and rotors and sure enough they were wore down to bare metal so I called Mr Amiri and he told me he would fix it because I was his customer. I thought that meant he would cover the cost because it was still within the three month warranty. So I brought it down and he had his mechanic fix it. Then he asked if I wanted to square up the bill and I inquired as to why I was being charged if it was still within the three months since I bought the car. He informed me that the warranty only covers engine and drivetrain. So I asked him how much I owed him and he charged me 110 bucks which i thought was a pretty good deal and I told him I couldnt pay him today but I could give him half on Friday when I get paid and the other half the following week. He said ok and let me leave the place with my car. A week later I noticed my car getting overheated and took a look at the engine and notioed a slight leak and just thought it was a loose hose fitting or something. i called Amiri and he told me to bring it in and they would have a look at it. Turns out I had a cracked radiator and it would have to be replaced. Amiri covered the parts and had his mechanic put a new one in. I have had the car for over six months now and its running great and I am very happy with my purchase. I will be going back when I can to get another from him.

I recently purchased my 2nd car from Amiri Auto Sales. The first car I purchased 2 1/2 years ago for my daughter was a 2006 Toyota Corolla, which has performed flawlessly. The 2007 Toyota Matrix I purchased about a month ago developed a vibration from a bad drive axle. This problem did not exist when I test drove and purchased the car. This problem was fixed free of charge. He even let me use a car off the lot for free to get to work while mine was being repaired. Mr. Amiri is an extremely honest man. He is low key and there is no pressure. Understand that most of the vehicles are classified as "salvage title". Also understand that all of the vehicles have been fully mechanically repaired and body work done so they look in tip top shape. All of his vehicles pass mechanical inspection by the State of MN vehicle before they are offered for sale. He will provide you pictures of the initial damage and you can look at the repair job yourself when the car is ready and on the lot for sale. Mr. Amiri knows quality. Most of the cars on his lot are Toyota and Honda and other top brands. I am a pretty discerning and value driven consumer. I am 100% confident in purchasing vehicles from Amiri Auto Sales. It really comes down to trust. Mr. Amiri has demonstrated that he will stand behind the sale and make it right, even though he is under no legal obligation to do so. Thank You

BUYER BEWARE, ID RATE THIS PLACE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD. I went in to purchase a 2001 Lexus Es 300. I was greeted by his mechanic who seemed to be a friendly guy, opposite from the owner Amiri. Whoever rated him as honest must be on something or Amiri himself composed the rating. Amiri and honest just dont go together. I test drove the car, and he made me fill up gas for him which was no big deal. We went to talk negotiation and he seemed open to negotiation (the car had been sitting on the lot for over 3 MONTHS). We agreed to a price and shook on it, and I left thinking that I had just bought my first car. I told him that the A/C and a few other things needed fixing and he said hed take care of it. I called him yesterday letting him know when Id come and he said he cannot sell it for less than $4900. Take note that we had shook on $4500, and that his website was offering it for $4750. I told him he is ridiculous for being dishonest and raising the price MORE than what hes asking for online, and so he agreed to $4500 again. Today I call him asking for the invoice so I could make a cashiers check in his name for the exact amount, and he tells me he sold it (which is not true because it is still up on his site). VERY DISHONEST, BIG CROOK TYPE OF GUY. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU CAN, NOT A GOOD PERSON AT ALL.

UPDATE: He keeps posting cars that have salvage titles and frame damage as clean titled cars on cargurus dot com. Dont give this guy business! The nice old mechanic guy gave me the keys for a test drive without giving and then when I talked to the owner about the car, then I was told it was a salvage repair vehicle and that thats all they sell. When I talked to the owner about potentially buying the car, he said he promised somebody else that they could buy it and he would call me if they didnt. That was over a month ago and the car is still listed and I never heard back. I also inquired about another vehicle which they couldnt find which was odd. Then I saw another one and asked about it and he said he hadnt looked at it yet but it had a price on it and looked like it was ready to sell. Just strange. All that I can think is that he didnt want to sell to me because of me personally or my ethnicity or something. I dont recommend going here.
