I had a feeling before I ever set foot into the place that something would be off with the people there but that I would get the dress I wanted. I went in and they were very nosy about all of my plans. I didnt trust this immediately. I ignored it and looked around. I found the dress I wanted and at a price I wanted. Initially before I paid anything (no refunds) I was attended to generally. That was fine. I made my first payment on the dress. After that I started getting really poor customer service. I went in a total of 4 or 5 times. The second time I tried it on and prepared for alterations. The alterations were definitely over-priced. For a few stitches anyone who sews knows that youre charged about 10x what the alterations are really worth. The second time there was a group of what seemed like teen-aged girls standing around aloof doing nothing in the store but they were obviously employed there. They were catty. They all just seemed mad that someone was getting married and it wasnt them. They all seemed bitter. They had horrible attitudes. One of them seemed to be related to a more powerful staff member there. This woman made a comment to me about my body that was very rude and has not left my mind since she said it. It was intended to make me feel like garbage in the dress (past the point of no refunds), to ruin my experience of marriage in the dress. After the first payment all compliments about the dress immediately ceased and sort of jealous, mean-looked, snippy, rude comment attitudes started occurring everywhere. I generally stayed away but to pay on it. I didnt even want to do a final appraisal in the mirror with them there after alterations. The next thing that bothered me is that they gave my information away to other businesses in the area to call me and bombard me with wedding planning services. They never asked my permission to give my information away but I knew it was them because I wasnt using any other services yet which they werent betting on. This same snippy, angry, jealous girl pried for information about the groom, the venue, everything and when I gave her the tiniest bit and told her what venue we were considering she laughed and outright made fun of it!! The alterations in the dress were so-so. I ended up realizing there was more wrong with the dress than I could tell before and I dont feel it is permanently secured somehow, I half expect it to fall apart on me. I wonder if I will end up needing to get this altered again at some point. The cost of the alterations brought the dress to the full-sale price (probably no coincidence which would mean my alteration cost was determined before I tried it on!)....and had I known the maker and style # ahead of time (which they keep secret even on the tag) I could have got the dress online for 64% off. Customer service is horrible. The people here obviously do not care and once they get that first payment they will act like what they truly are. I wouldnt say they are ripping anyone off that I know of but they definitely do not care about you, your experience, your day, or anything but the money. I would suggest someone look at dresses with 100% determination not to buy there. Find what you want, buy somewhere else because their nice attitudes WILL change once you pay.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! It takes forever for the dresses to arrive and no one will ever give you a straight answer as to their status or return your phone calls. My bridesmaids and I placed our order 9 months before my date and they did not arrive until 5 weeks before my wedding day, even though I was told it would only take 4-5 months for them to arrive. Each of my girls were charged different prices for their dresses ranging from $20-$50 difference from one another!! We received the "run-around" when ordering and the sales people on the phone were extremely unhelpful. We called CR to place our order, because that is where the girls tried the dress on, and were told "they do not take orders at CR, call NL". We then called NL and we told "we do not have your information you need at call CR". We went in circles at least 3 times and I finally had to call to see what the problem was and was told that my girls must be confused or lying because they never told them to call other stores. When they did arrive Heart to Heart had ordered the WRONG bm dresses!! I called multiple times daily to find out how this would be fixed and everytime I was told I had to speak to "the manager" (who just so happened not to be in the store) and that I would get a phone call back. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME!! I waited an entire week and it took the threat on legal action for owner to finally contact me. I recieved an email saying that it was my fault the wrong dresses were ordered because I told them to order that dress and a whole bunch of other crap saying they were not responsibe and it was MY mistake that they order the wrong dress. How that is possible I still cannot figure out. In the end we were stuck with the wrong dresses and were only offered $20 off the price!! They were very rude to me when I went in to pick up my dress and the bm dresses and could not understand why I did not want them altering the dresses and then was told they wouldnt have been able to complete the alterations in time anyways! This is by far the WORST customer service and experience of my life!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

In April I had a large engagement party get together. Afterwards my three bridesmaids, my mother, my future MIL, my two flower girls, and my two junior bridesmaids visited Heart to Heart with the intention of finding a style we liked and hopefully purchasing dresses. First thing to know was we HAD an appointment. This was not a walk-in. When we first arrived there was no parking what-so-ever so we had to park on the grass. Not a big deal. When we arrived it was so crowded and busy. We went to the desk to tell them we had an appointment. We were told we could start looking and pulling dresses and put them in our dressing rooms. There was another bride with her bridesmaids in our dressing room. We waited about 20 minutes for her to finish up but she still hadnt and our arms were over flowing with dresses. Not once did an employee come up to ask us if we needed help. I finally went up to ask them to put us in a different room and the first thing was "do you have an appointment?" This theme of customer service (or lack there of) continued throughout the whole experience. They never wrote down styles we liked or offered to have us look at swatches. The only thing they were concerned with was getting the dresses we didnt want back on the floor. We did find a dress that we loved but because of their horrible service decided not to get it. Why would I give my money to a company that clearly does not value my business? The employees all sat around talking and at one time all 5 employees were with one bride. Ive tried on wedding gowns and I know how stressful it can be but I assure you that you do not need all the employees gathered around. We didnt even get a "thanks for coming in" when we left. I was so frustrated and embarrassed because of our horrible treatment, but even more frustrated when I made a complaint to the owner and wasnt even acknowledged. I will never give this place my service which is a shame for them because I had a lot of woman interested in dresses and my fiance was interested in some tuxes they had as well
