I am posting my experience with Jared in Aurora, Ill off of route 59. I took my husband’s wedding ring to be prepared as it had lost a diamond. They told me they would have to send it in and have it looked at to see if it could be repaired or if it would have to be replaced. They would call me and let me know what needed to be done. Two weeks passed and I called them, they still had not heard anything about the ring. I said well we DO NOT want a new ring we want our original ring back either way. Don’t worry we will call you either way. The third week passed and no call. I called the beginning of the 4th week. Hey I am calling about my husband’s wedding ring, oh it’s on the delivery truck. What? Then they get it in and claim they don’t know if it’s a new ring or not… They would have to call and see. I went in that night and the girl I worked with said two things 1. Titanium can’t be repaired… What? I wasn’t told that when I sent it in. 2. It’s clearly a new ring (they can’t buff out the scratches. So she said she would have to talk to their manager and see what they can do. No call back that night. So I called the next day and they said they had not called corporate yet. I said why? Because they just got into the office at noon. They called back to let me know that my husband’s original ring had been destroyed since they couldn’t repair it. I didn’t ask for this. I wanted me ring. I am sorry I know that has sentimental value but you have a new ring. We didn’t want a new ring, or we should have had the option to get our ring back. Ok I guess I’ll come and get the new ring in a few days. So today I will be going to get my new ring, I didn’t want. AND I am pretty sure I will not be compensated in any way. So I figure what can I do in this day and age. BLAST them on social media. Make sure that others know about my experience so maybe they will improve their customer experience. They will make sure they give the correct information up front. They cannot disregard the sentimental value that ring holds. I am pretty sure none of them would like me to throw their wedding ring or engagement ring in the garbage. My husband has also called two times to talk to the manager. No call back. I guess I should be glad I am getting a ring back.

I will never shop here again. The sales assoc I worked with before Christmas was a lying scumbag just looking to close the sale and didnt give a damn about my wife ring. I brought it my wife old ring to get the correct sizing for the new ring I wanted to purchase for christmas. My wifes ring was 4.5 and the ring in the show case I bought was 6.75. Sales Assoc # 395394 flat out lied to me and said they were the same size and it didnt need to be fitted. She lied to me because I said I wanted to take the ring home tonight and asked if i can be sized same day. She responded yes it can be sized in 20 min. Well that was a flat out lie because when I brought it back in to talk to management after christmas to get it sized it took 6 hrs. Management didnt seem to give a $hit about the sales assoc lying either to close a sale. Shady people. Sleeze balls!

Necklace broke within a month of purchase, they wouldnt repair or replace without us purchasing their protection plan...terrible customer service since it was obviously a defect but they swore there was no defect...we purchased the plan for $70+ and it took a week to repair. The necklace has broken 3 times (requiring 6 more trips to the store that is not close or convenient to get to) since then and they finally said "We are going to replace it since the necklace is defective". They were obviously sick of repairing it and were willing to admit it was defective AFTER they took our money. Employees at Jareds are rude and I will never take my business here again.

Maila is amazing!!! She put together my dream ring at under our budget. When we were thinking about spending a little more for a more flawless diamond, she simply stated that unless everyone is looking at it through a magnifying glass, theyre not going to notice. So I was able to get a larger diamond and it is amazing. Absolutely no pressure from her at all. Best experience Ive ever had at a jewelry store. I am elated!!!!!
