Just wanted to give a shout-out to JP (John Paul). It had been a long time since I purchased new gear and I was looking to buy some new skis and bindings. JP took a significant amount of time asking questions, identifying my skill level, my preferred type of ski conditions, where I encountered the most challenges, and what I wanted to accomplish in order to determine the best skis for me. He explained how ski design had changed over the last dozen years that I wasnt aware of. Then, he showed me two top choices that would fit my needs. We also discussed bindings and poles. Im not an expert skier but Im a good intermediate skier (Blue & single Black Diamond) and Ive been skiing a long time. Ive never received support and expertise as good as that offered by JP. I have shopped at a lot of reputable (and not so reputable) ski shops over the years, but I have to say that I was really impressed with JPs knowledge and customer service. Cherry Creek is quite a bit out of my way compared to other shops, including other Christy Sports shops, but I try to go to the Cherry Creek location now whenever I can. I will add that there are a couple of other staff that have helped me and were similarly exemplary but I apologize for forgetting their names. This entire shop appears to be staffed by 5-star people!!!

Snowboarders - this is hands-down the best shop in town. I have short, wide feet, and Ive never been able to find decent-fitting boots. Kyle spent two hours building custom foot beds, hunting down the perfect custom boot liner, and heating and shaping the boot for the right fit. The results were PERFECT (and they give a money back guarantee on all their custom work), and cost a lot less than I expected. And through all that work, the service was excellent. I never once felt any rush or pressure, and I was totally confident that my salesman was dedicated to getting my fit perfect. Heres how great these guys are: While we were there, my 3-year-old popped the eye off of his favorite stuffed animal, so the guys in the board shop took his stuffed turtle in back and epoxeyed the eye back on. If you care about getting expert, professional service, this is the place to go. Im never shopping for equipment anywhere else again.

I had such a wonderful experience here and would recommend it as the ski/snowboard guru shop in Denver! I went in as a beginner skier looking to buy some equipment for the season and Mo at the Cherry Creek location spent over an hour fitting me and helping me select quality, affordable equipment. He is incredibly knowledgable and I definitely appreciated that he didnt try and sell me the most expensive products on the market. Definitely one of the best customer experiences Ive ever had for sure. They customize your boots with little footie insoles that come warm out of the oven - it was better than a pedicure! Everyone was super nice and super helpful and the store has a lot of merchandise so youve got great product options. Ill never go anywhere else, this place is bomb.

Christys is great... but you really shouldnt go here unless you HAVE to. What you should do is call them to get a price and timeline for whatever ski tune, boot fit, or whatever else youre looking for... Then call Confluence Kayaks, Wilderness Exchange, or Evo, and their faster time, and significantly cheaper service rates will blow your mind and pretty much make you wonder how Christys gets away with it. Its like the gas station charging a dollar more per gallon right off the exit. Its great and youll get what you came for, but just dont go there. (this said... if you buy a whole ski set up from them, theyll take care of you and youll get hooked up, but for one off service, go somewhere else)

I dont normally post, but Christy Sports went above and beyond and I felt it should be applauded. I went in with problems with my new boots after being recommended by Jans in Park City. I have never had better customer service in the sporting world. Kyle was kind enough to show me some tricks and convinced me into buying insoles for the boots(never a better decision). He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. All of the other guys were fantastic as well, from goggles, to rentals, to the cashiers. I was approached by numerous employees offering their help in an approachable manner. I will absolutely be back every season to rent/buy from here when I fly in/move there.

Glad we found Christy this season for our Jr Rentals. Much better than other Front Range Options. Order online in advance, and only $9.99 per day. Best part is you can pick-up the afternoon / evening before your ski day, and return the morning after your ski day and only pay for the single day. Skiing Winter Park on a Saturday? Order Online Thursday, Pick-up Friday Evening after work, Return Sunday Morning and pay for only 1 day! Other rental outfits could charge you three days for this time frame. Plus, staff is friendly, helpful, and just compliments the entire experience. We will not take our front range ski rental business anywhere else.

Very rude girl at the door. No body acknowledge my presence at the boots and bindings. No price tags on any of the bindings. When I flagged down the girl downstairs to ask if another store had more inventory she was rude and placed a brochure on the counter and walked away. I turned to ask her about the lakeside vs littleton stores and she ignored me. I will never shop at Christys again. I went to Colorado ski and golf had great service and no attitude. I bought Cartel bindings and the high end boots I was looking for. Only $500 sale so I am sure Christys wont even bat an eye at it but I wont return nor will I recommend christys.

Pros: The renting was super simple and the employees were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was great picking the boards up the night before and returning them the day after skiing. Cons: They did not have my boot size in stock. I did an online reservation 2 weeks in advance. What is the point of doing an online reservation if what I reserve isnt going to be in stock? Also all the information you fill out online, you have to fill out on a paper copy in the store. Again, what is the point of doing an online reservation?? I would definitely give them a call and make sure they have what you want in stock before going in.

In the past couple of weeks I have rented skis, boots and poles from the Cherry Creek store. I have not skied in years so was not current with all of the new equipment and what would be best for me. All of the people I talked to, from the on-line rental people to the gentlemen who helped me with the fitting of the boots and skis, were so helpful and knowledgeable. I was especially impressed with Johnny. He remembered me from the first time I rented skis and did a great job in making sure my equipment was perfect for me. I will be back in a week to rent again. Thanks for all the help.

Awesome place. I unfortunately had a gift card for reiand I used on a new some board. I dont like shopping at large corporations because the up sell factor and they dont seem that professional. While I was looking at boots the guy gave me the whole up sell pitch. I passed and went to this place and Johnny knew 10x more. He told me my board didnt need a wax (rei told me it did), mount my old bindings on my new board (with better knowledge on my stance) , and helped me pick up new boots I am thrilled with. I will always be coming here for all my snowboarding needs.
