Less than a desirable place to shop for anything. I have the misfortune of living so close to this location in Van Nuys and because of traffic issues i gave this location many chances but obviously they care only about the revenue and not at all about customer service, now I have come across many employees at this location and many other locations in and outside of the states and this particular location is by far the worst I have ever visited most of the employees are rude, unprofessional, arrogant and entitled. and that speaks very bad about the COSTCO name.fortunately there are other locations in the San Fernando Valley, not as convenient for me but I rather visit the Pacoima, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Burbank, or Santa Clarita Valley Via Princesa location. any other but Van Nuys The bad employees here give every employee a bad name. To close this review I can say that if this location were my only option I would no longer have a membership with COSTCO. and would only keep my membership with Sams Club, And to answer to a future question no! it is not about terminating the membership it is about customer service and this is exactly the reason many Companies that thought they were to big to fail are now extinct and online shopping is now more popular than visiting a store, "Bad Customer Service".

Im really mixed on this place. The clientele are sooo rude, but thats not Costcos fault. I just try to go when theres not a crowd, but they really have NO manners. It is Costcos fault, however, that the place where you pick up pizzas is absolutely awful. Theyre not friendly, helpful, or even efficient when Ive used them in the past. Id give them a negative star, if I could. Ridiculous lack of service. But I do feel like the cashiers at the regular checkouts have gotten friendlier, and their helpers (putting things in carts) have, too. Theyre still bizarrely stingy with boxes, even if theres a whole crate of them sitting nearby. Bakery people are great, too. Theyre super helpful, most of the time. The selection is good, and they have more organics (sometimes) than they used to. Still the best for quality eggs and milk, although I can get a bad batch of milk on occasion. Great for most of the things we buy in bulk. Overall, its a decent Costco, with Costco prices, and its close, sooo...average on the stars.

Whats a little funny about Costco asking to check a bag is nothing they sell fits in it!!! I used to really like Costco but the people at the door are really ride amd dont provide customer service. Even though I have a receipt in my hand they will ask me to open my bag. Then they barely check it and are usually rude when they ask. In all the places I shop ive never had someone demand I open a bag except Costco. I thougjht about getting a membership here but now will not be after the rude service. Its funny they ask to open a backpack but when women have large pocket books I dont see them asking them to open it. I will not be coming back.

The staff was great n honest. While I was looking n shop for the wifi stereo, I had set down my lil black purse on one of the box. I had my car keys, iPhone, lots of cash n all of my credit cards in there. I was busy carrying the stereo n walked away to the register. Luckily one of the staff picked it up n hand it to lost n found. Im greateful to that staff who was deligent n honest :) Also Im very happy with my buy "Creative" works with Bluetooth n offer great sound! I was looking into buying "Bose" but after reading reviews of all the stereo speakers at Costco, the "Creative" wifi is what i need n it works very well! Very satisfied!!!!

I like Costco but this store was a little crowded and the produce was not all in one place so it was difficult to find. They are constantly moving things around so we have to search the whole store and that part I dont like. One thing I wish they had was boxes of inexpensive frozen burgers and hot dogs. We were doing a non-profit event last weekend where we had to feed lunch to 150 people and I found I had to buy all the meat and all the buns over at Smart & Final. Not everything is a discount over there, it pays to do a little research before deciding to buy everything at Costco.

On the one hand, its a Costco, so I automatically dig this place. On the other hand, the parking lot here is particularly hectic and confusing. This Costco shares a parking lot with a few other businesses, but its shaped and oriented strangely near the Staples, making it a ripe spot for near misses. For best bets, go all the way to the back right, for those spaces that feel like they were drawn in out of necessity. There is a lot of parking on the left, but that also makes the car + foot traffic pretty dense. Otherwise, this Costco delivers exactly in the way you hope and expect.

A large warehouse store. Helpful employees provide access to endless displays of well priced products and services. Dont eat before you shop, multiple food samples are provided. If youre still hungry, the fast food stand is quick and cheap. This Costco can get very busy. The gasoline pumps lines get frustrating, sometimes very frustrating. The wait at checkout can be quite long. Wheelchair accessible including bathrooms. Powered scooters, for the handicapped with large shopping baskets, are provided. The massive parking lot, which is usually filled, is free.

Most of these reviews about time and parking make me laugh! The best time to go to any store we all know this is when all the sheep are eating dinner. 730pm Monday or Friday night NO LINES. When a store is in demand we all must think logically that of course it will be packed so we must think outside the box and arrive at a time others are most busy with typical tasks. Same goes for gas... Did you rocket scientists know that costco gas is open an hour after closing the store? Bingo... This is your chance not to sit in lines. Who da thunk lol

Coming to this Costco after having lunch at the local chinese restaurant just a few minutes away. I also used to come here when I worked in Sherman Oaks. Now that I just come here only when I dine nearby, is still convenient. If I need to go to Costco which is 95% of the case after having a meal close-by.. I will go here instead of driving to the other end of the west san fernando valley for costco. Definitely love coming here at times, to even just sit on the couches.. dont tell anyone.. shhh!!!!

For people who have never been there you NEED a Costco card or temp membership card to make a purchase. I go here all the time, yes it gets very crowded but they have decent prices for most of the products sold there. It is also better to buy things in bulk I find that to be cheaper. Workers are nice whenever I buy things there . Clean place and you can get samples of food and/or drinks. You can buy clothes, food, furniture, household things, bed stuff, electronics, out door things as well!

The pharmacy sucks! Dont even bother trying to call. Youll want to blow your brains out after getting hung up on repeatedly. Whenever you do talk to some one, they put you on hold and surprise surprise...you get hung up on!!! Not worth the money you may save here dealing with all the hassle of parking, going in, battling the crowds, then battlingthe other line at the pharmacy, although at least in person they cant hang up on you. Only go here if you are taking strong medication for anxiety.
