The staff has always been very friendly to me but the owner / manager was very rude to me. I dropped a bottle while at the checkout stand and it broke. She treated me like an errant child. It was humiliating as the store was quite busy that day. I have worked for many years and under no circumstances would I ever treat anyone in that manner. She may have been having a bad day so I will give her the benefit of the doubt. I noticed a few reviews on the staff being rude and it may be that they are under a lot of pressure daily from how they are treated. It doesnt keep me from frequenting the store as they have the selection I want.

Its a very attractive store. The prices, however, are not. Just before Christmas, I needed brown rice flour to make cookies for a friend with allergies. Being new in town, I went to Artesian as it was the nearest natural food store. The 1-pound package cost $6.95, but in the Christmas spirit I gritted my teeth and bought it. It wasnt till after I had gotten home and opened the package that I read the Best By date: October 2016. I wont shop there again.

Full rack of bean puff products leaves little to be desired. Stop by the essential oils to be impressed! Helpful staff, especially that one girl allison!
