Spent over $285.00 on shipping, clock was damaged as the glass was broken. Called the store they advised to get an estimate on the repair...got the estimate after driving 1.5 hours to the repair shop, than after I sent the estimate UPS calls and tells me that they will not pay the claim as they need to inspect the package with the shipping item. This is what I was not advised of and now I am out $120.00 for the repair as the clock is at the repair shop, as the store says one thing and the UPS people say another........Do not trust them to pack an expensive item and now its up to the store to refund for the claim......I work for a major hotel firm and UPS has lost my business for good. We will see what they do but the run around has started and I WOULD NOT USE THIS STORE FOR SHIPPING. Very displeased with this UPS Store and UPS as a whole...Never using UPS again, my hotel in DC Hilton will pull my UPS account and use only FEDEX.
