I was a regular at Aki-home for a while when I first moved to chino hills. This place is great for the simple stuff you need around the house such as place mats, soap dishes, plunger, lamp shades, etc. Everything has a modern look to it, so its cool just to look around. They recently re-organized the store and it seems like they have a lot less of this stuff and instead are focusing more on their furniture. Its not as convenient as it was before, but their prices as still reasonable enough to justify a visit.

This place dont look much from outside, but it is very pleasant, once you walk in and start browsing. Especially if you are in to oriental decor and eastern cultural eating utensils /dishes etc. you will be glad you visited them.

Nice, clean and well organized store. Great customer service, representatives made themselves available, but were not pushy. Found some really nice bedroom sets I like at really reasonable prices.

They wouldnt honor my loyalty points which expired 5 days before. I had a legitimate excuse, death in family. Oh well I just purchased my dining room set elsewhere.
