Like a previous reviewer, I would give this business zero stars if possible. Were now 40% of the cost of the vehicle in repairs for what was supposed to be "good condition". The condition included rust in the floor that was weak enough to poke a finger through caused by a leak in the windshield and in the door seals, a leak in the AC low pressure valve and condenser, a parasitic battery drain caused by an alarm system and/or a faulty instrument cluster (still working on this), a cracked starter, the wrong radiator installed (it was advertised as having a new radiator), a clutch fan, thermostat and housing, and water pump that were all failing or had failed, an issue with the charging system (still diagnosing this but have a new alternator on order) that results in inadequate charging capacity, a leak in the turbo resonator, and quite a bit more. Note that though this van was purchased 2 years ago, these were all diagnosed within 3,000 miles of driving. Meaning, were at 121k and have cut 5 major sections of rust out (not to mention dropping the subchassis down to address rust between it and the chassis), replaced the entire cooling system, 50% of the AC system, the turbo resonator, the starter, the instrument panel, alternator, etc. Weve done this as weve built the van out into a camper van. The vehicle was purchased using an online car buying service through our bank (USAA) and, as mentioned, was positively advertised. Of course, I have little to no recourse as the terms were "as is", which I understand. Having said that, given the issues, its hard to imagine that none of these were either 1) known or 2) disclosed. In my view, this either means they are incompetent or dishonest, or likely both. Unless you can inspect the car yourself, I would recommend shopping elsewhere. Apparently the car buying service wed used agreed as the business was removed from their service previously due to similar complaints. Ive attached two pics of the rust to give an idea what is considered "good condition" by their standards. These and 5 other spots were addressed by cutting out the rust and welding in new supports. Also attached an image the cracked starter. No images where taken of the mechanic work cited above. We have the bills enough to validate the issues! Finally, we notified the business via email on June 16 of our dissatisfaction, even indicated that we are not seeking damages, simply to inform them that we felt their listing and communications misrepresented the condition of the vehicle and that, in so doing, had cost me and my family significant time and resources to remedy. As of June 21, no response. Again, unless you can put your hands on the vehicle, youre taking on an unacceptable level of risk, in my view, trusting that this business has either the skill set and/or ethics to fairly represent the condition of the vehicle and to consider, even remotely, your interests. Very nice people we thought until we signed the purchase agreement. I would give this place a no star if it was an option....Do not ever purchase a car from this dealer ship! We bought a SUV for close to $20,000 and have found nothing but issues for the last 6 months. I would strongly suggest you keep driving if you see this dealership.
