Prices are pretty good. The store is always out of a bunch of things though and the staff is very unprofessional. Ive heard many of my coworkers say the same thing. You know theres a problem when you make a complaint to a manager who laughs in your face and starts telling another customer about it all. Some of the younger ones have little snide remarks if they see you here and there too. Overall Id prefer to drive the extra miles to the Rhinelander one. Also beware of the obvious secret shopper there who likes to follow you and watch every move you make. I dont call that precaution I call it stalking. Its impossible to not see him poking his head over the shelves at you wherever you go.

Hey its a Walmart, what do you expect anyway? Ive shopped their once a week for the past couple of years and still go back for more. They are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week! I have never had a problem returning something at the customer service counter or had any quality problems with the food. The facility is laid out like any other Walmart in the country and the staff have always been helpful when asked a question. Just be aware this Walmart location does not have a tire shop or optical center.

Never have anything stocked n their customer service department n lead must not understand the meaning of customer service seemingly how they are almost always rude to their customers. Much improvement needed. Also, this opinion is not based off of just one visit. This is numerous times ive been let down n so have many others that i know.

Its solid.. But really hard to gauge how long a trip will take. I really advise snagging what you need on the off hours since the tourist seem to swarm in and out constantly during the daylight hours in season. Its pleasant but the selection seem to bounce between weirdly wide... not a bad thing... and weirdly narrow in some sections.

When I first went to check out, there was only one register open. A second register opened about 5 minutes later. Yes the self check was open, but I dont like doing self check. As, a loyal customer, I shouldnt have to use the self check if I dont like it. By the way, my checker works very s-l-o-w-l-y.... not good.

Im not a fan of Wal-Marts in general, but this one isnt that bad. The location can be a little off putting given that its set so far back from the main road, but its not difficult to navigate in and out of the parking lot. The store was clean, and the staff were ever present. On the whole not a bad experience.

Called today to order a birthday cake. The lady in the bakery department was super nice and helped me get exactly what I needed even though they didnt have a lot of the kits that are shown online. They were patient, friendly and went out of their way to get me what I needed.

I came to return that scooter I bought last Friday and I got my $21.07 back for it!!! Now I changed my mind back to liking and supporting Walmart!! Decided to check out the Fall decorations in the Seasonal Department and eat at the Subway!

We have a nice Walmart - clean, wide aisles- but forget it if you need assistance as its impossible to find anyone who is willing to help. I will exclude produce, however, because the people in that department are very helpful.

Very nice employees... some of the same employees have been working at this location for years and years! I an always find what I am looking for, the shelves are stocked and the lines are okay for getting in and out quickly.

Mostly has what I need. Tried twice this week to use Walmart Pay. First clerk had no idea what to do, called someone over who also had no idea. Today the clerk said "they dont tell us that stuff". Training opportunity!

I have never experienced ruder customer service at a Walmart! You may not like tourist season, but were the ones that keep your economy strong. Even my 15 year old son was amazed at how rude we were treated!!!!

All those check out stands & no one to operate them. Cashiers are soooo slow & backed up. No one ever wants to do their job and help you!!!! If you have a hard time holding a job, this is where you end up.

I needed some help in the photoraphy/ electronics department but apparently no provision had been made to cover the department during a lunch break. When the person returned the service was excellent.

Pretty good selection. Always rearranging which makes me a little crazy. Ive yelled at them for not taking care of their live fish in pet department but manager was responsive to complaint.

Employees on floor are rude and shelves arent stocked on a regular basis! Looks as if theyre going out of business. Produce is horrible and 70% of the time theres moldy food in the coolers!

Well they are 24 hour which is good in a pinch, but forget customer service. I called asking for the sports dept and was on hold for 10 min so called back and got hold again for 10 min.

Its a Walmart. Selection is usually picked over during the tourist season and it is busy with all the out of towners, but for a Walmart, it is run very well and kept fairly clean.

Decent selection of items. A big building with friendly staff to help with locating items or general help. Missing certain items that dont restock for months on end.

There where 2 lines open at 6:00 pm with 8 people waiting in each line, whale they hade 3 employees at self check out. The emploies were rude and unhelpful

Called for pharmacy and they could not transfer me to the pharmacy. Had to hang up and redial. Just one more inconvenience of the Minocqua Walmart.
