Although it is a spacious and pleasant store, I cannot recommend it. The main problem was that they just could not get my glasses right. I wanted a pair of glasses for reading on the computer and for reading up close, preferably progressive. They tried 3 times to get them right, and failed every time. The first time they were blurry, and they tried to correct the problem by making them bifocals rather than progressive, but they were still just as bad, so the third time they "fixed" the prescription and kept them bifocals. I found them impossible to use, so I gave up. It took me a while, but I figured out that nobody in the store seems to have heard of "computer progressive lenses", "office lenses", or "near variable focus lenses, as they are variously called (google them!). I called Customer Service for Eyecare Centers of America (the parent company) and the support specialist there had never heard of them either, and he was sure that they do not sell them! So I went to an independent, licensed option, and learned that the other pair I bought from the store (standard progressive lenses) were done all wrong as well (the lenses did not match the prescription), so I went and returned them too. In my opinion, the main problems are not the store in particular, but about the way the whole company does business. The associates are courteous, and they do seem to want to please, but they do not seem very knowledgeable. I give them credit for being good about refunding me my money, and I dont want to assume that the lenses were made wrong because of them. I dont think the store associates are being dealt a very good hand. The whole experience was a major hassle for me, though my business with the store seems well on the way to being resolved. I will stay away from any stores in the Eyecare Centers of America superchain, and do my business with an independent store run by a knowledgeable optician.

First off to start, Id like to forewarn everyone and anyone who is interested in getting their eye exam to NOT go there!!! I came here at the recommendation of a girlfriend to get my eye exam because it would be much cheaper then the place I usually go to which is For Eyes. I SHOULD of just stuck with For Eyes because Vision Works SUCKS! I brought my little cousin in with me to take advantage of their free eye exams but both had to wait an hour to get it done which was incomprehensible because the place was DESERTED! The free eye exam gave us a choice to get two FREE frames but there werent any choices lef for us to choose from. All the frames there were poorly made and not even worth the time picking out. Then after getting our eye exams done, I had a pair of glasses made for pick up but after 4 days, they never contacted me to pick it up until I called them. They said that they needed me to fill out a release form for one of the frames so Im thinking why didnt anyone call me back to inform me of this to begin with?? Oh and they have this rep who works there by the name of Domingo who is ultra rude and would not accomodate to the customers request at all. Please do not go here!!! Totally NOT WORTH IT!!!!

To complete a purchase we were stuck with a new very rude employee who spoke over my father and I in regards to what we should get on our glasses. The process took forever, she restarted around three times, she always forgot where she was at - kept messing around with the small white board. Thank goodness Brian and Britney were there, Brain finally finalized the sale and Britney was able to give us an extra discount. A what would have been a terrible experience was definitely made much better by two wonderful employees. Thanks Brian and Britney!

Was given and charged for a coating on my daughters glasses and was not told about it. They also could not give me a detailed receipt so I could see what my insurance paid. When I asked what the charge was for I was given several different stories, one of which was a copay for the exam. We did not have the exam done there. My daughter sees the eye clinic at childrens hospital. This makes me believe I was ripped off and will never go there or recommend them again! Wouldnt give a star at all but had to to post this!

I tried several different times to schedule an appointment at this location but each time they gave me wrong information about my insurance coverage or made a mistake in the system with my appointment. Poor organization and customer service. Seriously, how hard is it to schedule an exam and keep that same date and time for one customer? Usually visionworks does an great job, but this particular location is a mess.

I scheduled an appointment and I specifically asked if I was going to be given the prescription info so I could order glasses online. They said yes but after the appointment, I was not given the pupillary distance measurement which I needed. I was told that you had to buy glasses from them to measure that. But if I knew that I wouldnt have gone to them.

Had to wait for my exam 30 minutes past the appointment time. When I looked around to try to find frames, the choices were abysmal. All the styles looked the same. When I asked for a copy of my prescription (because I planned to take it somewhere else to get glasses made), I had to wait another half an hour. And they were rude about it.

Just walked inside to ask a question and stood there for 10 minutes and not one of the 4 workers bothered to attend me, I finally came to to tell this big black lady ,you do know I been waiting her 10 minutes? I said this is the shittiest customer service ever!!

I went to visionworks for the first time in march and had a wonderful experience. The tech worked extra hard to make sure that I got the best dea on my contacts between my insurance and rebate forms. I will definitely go back.
