Oh, my. We went in for sandwiches for a picnic lunch at the beach- found some good looking already made sub type sandwiches in the case, then put those back because we found some in the deli glassed area that looked great- paninis- you could buy whole or half. We got a whole and split it. It was wonderful. Although, the older lady at the counter was incredibly rude. We asked about the sandwiches, she said "We grill them." That all she said, very rudely, absolutely no expression on her face. So, we looked at each other and then asked again, are they already grilled ? She said, the same way "We grill them." That was it. Oh, my. So we took the sandwich, she didnt say how long it would take to "grill it" or nothing else. We wanted potato salad, even forgot because she was SOOO rude and unhelpful. So went back there to get it before checking out. Nothing else, didnt try to sell us anything else. Jeez. We were not rude to her. Store very nice, roomy, clean, awesome selection of food and wine, alcohol. We also got 2 single beers, they were ice cold- awesome. Checkout gal was very nice. I can see why that old lady was in the back behind the counter. Great little grocery shop, clean, nice bathroom. Nice ample parking out back.

Great small town grocer that understands customer service. Fresh baked bread is the best in the county. Nice selections of wine a little pricey on the wines but youll find some good buys. Open year round. Good meats too. Egg potato salad in deli is like grandmas from years ago.

I love this grocery store! Fantastic wine selection, a vary wide variety of all types of products, great deli and bakery, and very responsive customer service. Great for a stop for lunch or to get your groceries for the week. I wouldnt go anywhere else in Door County.

Kind of pricy, if coming for groceries Id suggest getting them outside of the area but to pick up some meats, produce etc its a good place.
