Ive bought two pistols & accessories from VG over the past month, and to me, this is what a gun shop should be. The first purchase I knew exactly what I wanted. I called to check availability, (I live ~ 20 miles away) and wanted to make sure they had the model I wanted, and they did, and even set it aside for me (didnt need to give a CC#) until I got there that day. They were pretty busy (deer season), but took the time to show me their inside shooting range downstairs, which is nice, and explain the process of using it. The second purchase was yesterday. I was searching for a .45acp, and though they didnt have the exact models when I called, I wanted to look at one they had that I was considering. Its a family owned business (father & two sons). When I arrived they were more busy than the first time, but one of the owners (Tom) gave me the individual attention I expected. I wasnt impressed with the gun I came to see (it didnt fit my hand quite right), so he made a suggestion on another brand, which was 99% to my liking. I bought it, swapped the sights, and purchased some accessories. Because it was my 2nd purchase in a short period, he worked with me on a discount, which my experience with most other place wont. Their ammo is competitively priced, and that which they had on sale was near what I buy online. Id give them 4 1/2 stars if I could, and the only reason Im not giving them 5 is their inventory was down and I couldnt compared the different models I wanted to see, which being near Christmas and the demand on guns didnt surprise me. I was very pleased with the individual attention and service of swapping the sights while I shopped for accessories. Its what I expect but often dont get at other gun shops. Its very easy to find and get to, and a bonus is its a great place to hang out and strike up a conversation with some of the guys. A very down home and friendly place. Ill definitely go back.

Worse place to purchase anything! Overpriced and simply ignorant! NEXT TIME ITS $20!! I called and asked for a simple ejector roll pin, but couldnt get the proper assistance. So I drove in to show her what I needed, and was asked to wait while someone else searched the basement. I patiently stood there and he came back with a modified part because they didnt have any in stock. He said " How much is it worth to you? Ten bucks? As we proceed to the counter I am looking at it in my hand, and it is already installed. I asked for none of this. On the phone we discussed small parts were either 2 or 3 dollars. And if you know, an ejector roll pin is TINY! I took $5 cash with me because it shouldnt be more than that. I planned on shooting tomorrow, so i needed to get the part. I said ok I guess ill get it, and proceeded to pay with my card. "$10 dollars is out minimum because we get charged $3. Buy a box of ammo and make it $15" I told them I wasnt spending $15 and hadnt even planned on spending $10! She then replied "Well he can go knock it out for you then." So I replied "Please, because I can buy this for $2 on the internet." So he took my bolt to remove their modified part. Then when he returns, he says "Next time its going to be $20!" Can you believe that!?!? I did not once ask him to destroy his part to make a part for me, nor did i ask him to install it. Thats the customer service to expect. Funny thing is, I called and asked to speak to a manager or the owner and she put me on the phone with him! Haha and he said Im glad you had to waste the gas to get nothing! How Rude. I can tell you I will never shop there and I would advise going to Precision Firearms in Falling Waters for all of your AR-15 needs. Best people to deal with hands down! Thanks for reading! Take your funds elsewhere!

Very impressed with this store. A little out of my way, but several people have given their recommendation, so I decided to stop in. This was my first firearm purchase and the staff was very receptive and able to answer questions that I had. I did note that the store was very busy, however, this did not stop the sales person from giving me his full, undivided attention. I even had to step out to recieve a phone call, and he was still ready to interact with me after I returned from my call, despite the number of people in the store. I never fired one of the guns that I looked at, and they even let me put two clips through that gun, and another gun that was a little more pricey. All they asked for was a $5.00 donation to the NRA. After firing both, I decided on purchasing one of the ones that I had just fired. I was very happy with my purchase, and the entire paperwork process consisted of me filling out my name and address, and the rest was taken care of by the staff. I purchased my firearm in less than 15 minutes. I knew I had gotten a good price on the gun, however, I logged online to see how that price compared to various online retailers. Even at the lowest online price, I still recieved my gun $7.00 cheaper. I am very happy with my purchase, and will certainly recommend/go back for any of my firearms needs.

This was my first firearm purchase and the guys at the shop could not have been more helpful. Firstly the shop was set up well. The guns were displayed clearly and the store was not intimidating. The employees were extremely helpful. I have no experience in guns and every person i spoke to took time to answer all my questions, and offer additional info on things i had not considered. In all i spoke with 3 employees, they were really busy (a good sign) and i still had my questions answered. They allowed me to test fire two different guns And discussed the differences between them. They also informed me about carry laws and the classes they offer. Their prices were great. Not only was the gun they had cheaper than the same gun at another store, it was cheaper than the msrp from the distributor. They had cleaning kits and holsters, everything i needed. The sale was quick and easy, i filled out one sheet of paper and in 5 min it was done. In all Id spent probably 2 hrs there and had a great time. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase or who wants to learn more about firearms.

The Best Gun Shop Period. I worked with other shops in the area, and Valley Guns II has the best customer service, they worked with me for more than 2 hours. I can be indecisive, but in the end I did purchase. I also checked on the price of a gun I bought from another store and they where cheaper, I should have gone to Valley Guns first. They are very knowledgeable and explained everything. At other shops in the area, they made me feel like I was waisting their time. The guys at Valley Guns II really impressed me. The ammo was also very close to internet pricing, and their guns are also very close to internet prices. So TOPSHOT9764 is Lying, I didnt go there first because of that review, and regret it. The selection is HUGE, and they had holsters in stock. The firing range is great as well. I am now a Valley Guns II patron and will continue to return.
